This shade is perfect! The mechanism to raise and lower the shade is no fuss and cordless which is great for pets and little kiddos. We ordered the sized one inch smaller than our window frame and it fit perfectly. It allows so much light while maintaining privacy. The shade is lovely with a natural pattern which keeps it from being boring without being obnoxious. We will be looking to replace all of our window treatments with these in the near future! These blinds are a great value! Very easy to install, packed nicely and look great in the room. We ordered one just to make sure it was what we wanted and we will now be ordering for the remainder of the house! Update: We ordered blinds for the remainder of the house and love them! One word of advice especially if you have an older home. Double/triple check your window opening if you are installing inside mount. We had one window that was not exactly the measured width only because there had been some previous drywall repairs which caused the outside edge to be slightly narrower then the inside. It was only off by +/- 1/4" but it was a very snug fit and took some effort to get it to fit. 100% my mistake and not the manufacturers. ... show more

We bought an old Boston house built in 1910. The house had very large and LONG windows, making it very difficult to find a suitable option out there. What made this brand so great was how much easier it was to order than any other option. Other stores were twice as expensive for the same quality. Specialist stores charged a service fee for entering the information you already had to gather. As long as you know how to measure the dimensions of a window frame correctly, you will not have any issues with this brand. The only way to make the whole process easier would be to hire someone else to do it for you. I bought ten light filtering shades and four blackouts for 14. In all, it took me 1.5-2 hours to self-install all of them. I definitely would recommend it for any DIY home owner. ... show more

These shades were perfect for my guest bedroom. Super easy and quick to install. They are not heavy duty, but provide the privacy needed for a bedroom. I think they would also be great as window treatments on glass doors. Shipment was fast and sizing exact. Definitely recommend.

Easy roll up and pull down; really liked the khaki (don’t know whether or not I would classify as khaki) color; light filters through and at night looking in from outside house, you can’t see inside which is good.
