Decided to be the guinea pig and be the first to review. Look.... a 9x12 rug for less than $200?? Ummmm yes, it's worth it. I was having second thoughts and tried to cancel. It was too late. It arrived FAST. It wasn't rolled up. It's a heavy box folded. And you know what? It's not any less of a rug than the "affordable" rugs we all are buying from the same company that starts with an S. Those are just more traditional. If anything... if I do decide to shell out more cash for a more traditional, thicker rug- this is a good rug pad! Win Win for now. It's soft. Yes- you wonder the material because it's not what you're used to. But again, soft enough. I think people have called it a mat and I'd say that's a good way to put it. You will need a rug pad under which we did. For $1XX-some dollars I'm happy. This print tied our Saltillo tile and grey sectional together quite well. Got this for an attic room and it fits the vintage, distressed look perfectly. I will say that the colors are different than in the description photos. The blue in the listing is an aqua color but the actual rug is darker and less bright. I like the real rug color better, to be honest, but if you WANT the light aqua blue, you'll be disappointed. Otherwise, this rug feels good under the feet. It's not a plush rug. It's woven and arrives folded. Takes a few days for the fold lines to smooth out but it's a very attractive rug and a good weight. Of course this is not an authentic Persian rug. The price alone will give that away! The pattern is derived from the Persian style, and is probably the reason for the Chinese manufacturer calling it a Persian rug. This mat is made from a man-made, heavy-weighted textile that is used for upholstery. Looks to me that it can be washed, and should be fairly easy to clean if liquids fall on it. It looks okay to me in my dining room space, so I am happy with it. I just wish it was a woven texture. I prefer those types of mats/rugs. ... show more

The rug is decent for the price. Although it’s not thick, it does grip to the floor really well so there’s no issues with the edges lifting at all. I docked a star because I ordered the pink rug and it’s not really pink. In my opinion, it’s more red toned/ intense fuchsia.

Pretty rug! Nice colors! Soft and comfortable! The design is forgiving (won't show dirt spots easily). I could see the fold marks, but they smoothed out in a few days. Very easy to clean! I love being able to throw it in the washer! The back is a little grippy, but not super secure/non-slip. The rug is well made. It is also quite thin...this could be a good or bad thing depending on your function needs. ... show more

I got the "blue" one. This rug looked more aqua in the picture but in real life is blue, not quite as vibrant. I've had it out about a week and still can't get it to lie flat. Not sure if I will keep this out, but I was happy with the length.
