This cooler is exactly what I was looking for. It floats, it's waterproof,and it keeps stuff cold for a long time. After a couple weeks if use, I managed to crack one of the buckles. Nothing major that couldn't be fixed with tape. When I contacted customer service they more than took care of me. Don't hesitate on this one. It's worth far more than they're charging. I’m always skeptical of Amazon stuff but this thing is pretty legit! It keeps ice cold all day even when I leave it out in the sun and keeps everything inside nice and cold. The strap is also nice so your not lugging a cooler around and it holds a lot more than you think. I’ve put a 12 pack in and some food+condiments and ice. This cooler did everything as advertised. Comfortable enough shoulder strap. Had this cooler sideways for most of a kayak trip and no leaks. Planned to let it float in the river. But the water was too muddy so i didn't tests its ability to float. My biggest concern was its durability, and it seem to hold up to a good amount. Only used it 5 or 6 times but I am happy so far. While it kept most things pretty cold the only negative I can think of, is I packed it with a couple pounds of ice on the bottom and maxed it out with cans then kept it vertical for an 8 hour drive. At the end the cans on top were mildly cold and the bottom were ice cold....with a little ice left. Prob should pack the ice on top and let it melt down if thats how you will keep it for a long time. ... show more

It really does keep everything cold, however the strap broke about a week in, I tried to contact customer service and their email is non-existent. Like it's not a real email. Fail.

As of now I can only speak to the quality of the design and materials and not actual functionality of this cooler/dry bag. It is middle of winter here and I will not have cause to use this for several more months. The materials and manufacturing of this cooler/dry bag seems to be of very good quality. I found a few loose threads but all the stitching of straps etc. were solid. The pvc or vinyl material seems to be of a heavy quality and should stand up to some abuse without getting torn or punctured. The attachment of the air valve seems to be very solid and well sealed. The shoulder strap is nicely padded. I believe the description states a ten can or 4 wine bottle capacity but I feel there is more room than that. I would use ice packs rather than loose cubes in this if you plan to use it for a cooler. I have a few observations as far as functionality as a cooler. As the instructions say you need to fold the top down three times towards the logo. Then connect the two end connectors together on the air valve side. This is not a easy open and close type cooler. If you need to get into this cooler frequently this could become a hassle. Your eight year old probably won't be able to grab you a beer and get the cooler properly closed again. With that being said my intended use for this is when we are out floating in tubes on the lake in the summer. We will tie this to one of the tubes so we will have a beer or soda with us rather than someone having to paddle themselves back to the pontoon for cold drinks for everyone. I think it will work great for that. Once I get the opportunity to use this item I will update this review. EDIT: I used this cooler this weekend on a family hotel outing. We rent a couple rooms and bring the grand kids for a pool swimming weekend. I brought this cooler to keep drinks in while we are at the poolside all day watching the kids swim. I filled the bottom third or so with ice from the hotel ice machine and put about 8 cans of drinks in it. Closed it as the instructions direct you to. This held the ice all day in a warm and humid pool area and kept the drinks cold. As a matter of fact there was still ice in it the following morning when I dumped it for refilling it again and it was not properly closed over night. It did not leak like many bag type coolers do. Once you get used to the opening and closing procedure it was no big hassle to use. But as I said earlier it's not as easy as a chest cooler with a top you just open and shut. I was impressed at the ice holding capability and the fact that it stayed dry on the outside and did not leak. The shoulder strap also worked nicely when carrying it to and from the ice machine and up and down stairs. Buy this with confidence! ... show more
