I do not have words for how good these paint pens work! No qualms giving five stars—the only reason for making this provisional is the question of how long the paint will last. We bought these to dress up the raised gold letters on the address plaque for our house, and they work just great! The paint is very ‘gold’ not yellow-ish, and has a nice glittering effect to it. The paint flows easily but doesn’t drip or run. The existing gold paint on our letters was faded and cracked but the new paint from the paint pens flowed nicely to fill the cracks, leaving a much improved, even, crack free, richly golden surface. Re-reading this it strikes me that some may think I work for the seller—I don’t—or have somehow been compensated for the review—I haven’t. It’s just as simple as this: we bought these to dress up the lettering on our house plaque and they worked so well I wanted to write a positive review. I hope in six months or a year I’ll be able to follow up to say that the paint is going strong and hasn’t faded or cracked! ***Update*** over one year later…June 29, ‘25 minus a ⭐️ I have needed to reapply the paint twice since May ‘24. The plaque faces south/southwest—lots and lots of UV. One the plus side: the pens work very well so touching up regularly is a breeze. The pens themselves have a “weight” in them that stirs and mixes the paint when the pen is shaken. This makes reusing them easy as the paint doesn’t separate and clog up. On the downside: I’ll need to reapply the paint every six months. As far as paint pens are concerned, these are a 5 ⭐️. As for my solution on the house sign lettering, I give them four ⭐️. These are great, but I wish they had a finer point on the paint tip. On smaller items it is hard to make legible notations. Paintwise, these are really good. The paint is super reflective, shiny (glossy), and holds up outdoors on my heavy plastic plant tags. I was having an issue using Sharpie permanent markers on my tags, with the print fading into obscurity within 6 months. These paint pens are doing great fighting off the elements.

The ink/paint is long lasting and vibrant. I used it to label the various remotes in the house and charging blocks (my teenagers tend to pick up each others blocks and then bicker about who it belongs to. No more questions about the owner. But there is still plenty of things for them to argue over. :) Great find!

Color is more of a teal color green instead of a true like Forrest green, but they work as they should and have plenty of paint in them. I used the pins to mark Milwaukee batteries and have done 15- 18v batteries and 6- 12v batteries so far and pin still has plenty of paint left. I got the three pack and I am still using the first pin.
