  • Great Customer Service Rep, Teche . Thank You
We recently purchased a new, still in the box, Amazon Fire TV from a charitable organization. It was missing the power cord which was no problem to purchase from the local electronics store. The box was also missing the legs or stand to set the tv on. That was a little harder to find since I wasn't sure about the legs or stand that would hold the TV. I contacted Amazon customer service via online chat and explained the situation to the Rep., Teche. I also explained my husband and I are both disabled seniors so we needed something that would be very stable. Teche went out of his way and gave me a few suggestions to choose from and even checked reviews to see if there were any known issues with the stands holding a 55" tv. I chose the PERLESMITH Universal Table Top TV Stand for 22-65 Inch Flat Screen, LCD TVs Premium Height Adjustable. It went together easily and attached perfectly to the back of our new TV. Thank You Perlesmith, Amazon and Teche. If need be I would buy again. ... show more

  • Does the Job, Confusion Included
The instructions, even with pictures, are not clear-cut. I tried to match what was in the diagram for Step 3, but the holes do not properly line up. I was able to get it put together eventually by swapping sides on the pieces themselves and then swapping the right and left legs on the back of the TV. Overall, it does the job after some frustration and comes with all necessary tools except for a Philip's head screwdriver. It DOES have some sort of foam on the bottom of the legs to prevent dents on your TV stand's surface. ... show more

  • Good for the price but feet wiggle
We have a 50" LG TV that was hung on the wall and needed to put it on a stand but threw the feet away. This works great for the price and it fits the LG. Only concern is that the feet have some back and forth bend even when tightened securely. As long as you don't need to move it on a regular basis, it shouldn't be an issue ... show more

  • Instructions are a little vague, but solid item
I'm not the most mechanically inclined guy out there. I bought this to elevate our TV and make room for a sound bar I purchased. The first thing you have to know is the instructions are a little hard to follow. That said, it took me about half an hour to put it together and it works great. Make sure you line everything up properly. The parts look relatively interchangeable, but you need to pay attention to that. The package came with a wide selection of bolts for attaching the unit to the TV. WIll take some trial and error, but you're sure to find something in there that works. It's not the prettiest thing by any means (we now call our TV a T-Rex because of how it looks), but it will do the job if you're just trying to give yourself a few more inches of clearance. Would buy again if I needed one. ... show more

  • Engineered & Manufactured To a T!
The universality of this stand is engineered right into the design & manufacture of its parts. I have a 60" Vizio that's several years old, and this amazingly simple stand was assembled & installed within 15 minutes. Kudos to those who so thoughtfully & affordably brought it to life! Thank you!

  • Not easy to assemble but it does eventually work out. (55" TLC TV)
The instructions for this item are NOT that clear. It took watching some basic youtube videos and reading other comments and some common sense to actually put the feet together. Finally we figured it out. The kit comes with way more hardware than you will probably need. We installed this on a 55" TLC TV and it worked out good once we got it mounted to the back of the TV. If you have cats or kids in the house, I wouldn't recommend this because it still seems like it might tip over too easily but that's just my opinion. It was easier to put together with two people vs. alone because of the awkward pieces of the feet and the direction they have to fit together and when mounting, we laid it flat down on a table with a blanket on the table to protect the TV screen and then GENTLY screwed in the bolts with a screw driver as it says specifically not to use a drill when mounting. Good luck! ... show more

  • Glad I bought these
I am a member of the Vine program, and we get to select some items and just have to deal with the tax hit since they count as income. This was a Vine item, but the number for taxes was ridiculous, and it cost me less to just purchase it outright. I had a similar set I got for my Sony last year, since the stand didn't work well with my center speaker for my atmos surround. That was a 65" TV and was supposed to be "too big" but was under the weight limit, and it was fine. Then a couple weeks ago I upgraded to a 75" TV, and it worked, but I wanted something with different angled legs. The old ones were angled IN so it still made the center speaker awkward, it had to sit on the legs and was slightly tilted down. Nobody could tell, but I could. Then these came up on the Vine program, and I figured it was better to just buy them outright, and I'm glad I did. These are MUCH more solid than the previous ones. I'm not a fan of the silver hardware, but that's nothing a little paint won't fix for me. But the other ones had black hardware to blend into the legs. These are beefier, the legs angle OUT so it's much easier for me to place my center speaker. And another bonus to these - the upright on the legs that has two 1/2" bolts to secure it to the two pieces that screw into the VESA holes on the back of the TV - the top one is oval, so you actually get some TILT movement here, which helped me since the other one had the TV sitting a bit tilted back. With the 65" it wasn't a big deal, but the bigger 75" one with the same tilt meant I could suddenly see the lights from the room behind us reflected on the top edge. With this one, the tilt can be adjusted enough to get rid of them again. I know this says "up to 70" and I hung a 75", but I'm about 40 lbs below the rated weight limit, and this is holding it just beautifully. There's some up/down adjustments you can do even if you're on a huge TV like mine that only allows the VESA mount to be in one place (since it uses the absolute top and bottom holes). But I still can move the vesa arms up and down on the legs for a bit of adjustment. If you're like me, and the stand that comes with your TV just is annoying or outright won't work where your TV is, then these are a must. ... show more
