    • If your wall is covered by "wall units," then wall-mounting your TV is not an option
The last step is to take six self-stick rubber feet and attach them to the underside of the big, black, beautiful, thick, tempered-glass foot. But if you're going to put the pedestal on a carpet, and if you're going to want to the option to slide the pedestal around, then I recommend leaving the rubber feet off. With a 43" TV, and rubber feet, and me being 6 feet tall but never an athlete, I'm just barely able to lift the whole kit and kaboodle enough so I can move the TV around on the carpet. After placing a VCR and DVD player on the glass foot, I have to slide instead of lift, which is sure to cause the rubber feet to pull off over time -- and that's OK with me. The swivel is useful, but it has loosened up over the year, so now there's hardly any friction to keep the TV pointed after swiveling it, so it tends to go back to its original position. One work-around is to move the coax cable around to help keep the TV pointed where I want. The other work-around is to rotate the whole pedestal, which isn't a problem and also works. Maybe one day, I'll see if I can figure out what needs tightening so it stays put after swiveling. In summary, it's so convenient being able to move the TV around depending on how much company we have or if we want to open the sofa-bed. The swivel thing is hardly worth mentioning. The big, black, beautiful, thick, tempered-glass foot is awesome, for those of you with glass fetishes. And if you're worried about the setup being top heavy, there's no problem with stability. For my setup, I wanted the TV very-slightly above eye level when sitting down, so I mounted the TV at the lowest available position, and that worked out just fine, too. ... show more

    • Excellent Well Built Mount, Easy Assembly
I purchased this mount to hold my 65 inch LG. I could tell when unboxing it was well built and sold construction. I assembled the stand in 30 minutes, easy one person assembly and clear instruction with all all items clearly listed on the package and in the instruction sheet. I placed this mount on top of my tv stand and hung the 65 inch tv. So now no need to mount the tv to the wall, I can easily swivel the tv as needed and would have been tall enough on the floor but used my tv stand to raise it a bit higher. One thing I really liked is it has a cord management attachments for the back so my cords are not visible. Recommended! ... show more

    • Best Option For People Who Can't Drill Holes in the Wall and Want It to Still be Close to the Wall
This stand is absolutely perfect if you're in rental/lease situation where you can't drill holes in the wall. I mounted a 65" HiSense 4KTV on the stand and it looks great up against a wall. As many reviewers have noted, it will not sit as high up if you use a bigger sized screen due to the proportions. So just keep in mind that if you mount anything bigger than 55" inches, it will not look exactly like the stocks photos of the product above. I also loved the glass base. It came perfectly intact and is very solid and heavy. This, in combination with the weight distribution of the stand, makes it nearly impossible to tip if you have small children that might play around it in your living room. The glossy style of the base and the modern feel to the rest of the stand make it look really nice in my living room on the hardwood floor. The TV takes up way more space than the stand so you could use this in basically any size room for any size tv. ... show more
