I bought this for my RV. The rear couch is gaucho style, and an exact twin size when extended as a bed. I'm a solo traveler, so that's all the space I need. The topper sits on top of the couch cushions. Not my first "bed in a box" so installation was easy. It seems durable enough, and so long as I keep clean linens on it, it should last me a few years, more than worth the cost. However, I have a bad back (Infantry and paratrooper) and this, as I have it configured now, won't do. Take my lack of stars to only reflect MY experience, and the condition of my back. I'm going to remove the cushions from underneath, and see if the added firmness from being against only wood will improve my sleep quality. Hopefully that solves the problem for me. I'm not looking forward to buying a costly mattress that has to be wrestled into position in already cramped quarters.

Purchased this mattress topper with doubt it would do what was claimed. I was happily proved wrong. Much less tossing and turning throughout sleep. Wake up feeling like I slept. Worked great from first night using it. I highly recommend it for anyone with back, neck or hip pains.

I’ve been struggling with my mattress being too soft and causing me back pain, so I ordered this mattress topper to help with the firmness. After a few night sleeping on it my back pain was gone and I could sleep through the whole night! Love it!

I bought this for our guest room when I had to isolate from my spouse due to COVID. After a few nights on the mattress in that room, my hips were killing me. So I went online and panic-bought this topper because it: * could be delivered quickly * was pretty thick * didn't cost a fortune Over the course of a week I mostly slept on one side of the bed, and I do think it compressed a bit on that side. That's why I don't think it would hold up to constant use. But my guests have been very happy with it and I did find it comfortable for my week in the guest room. For reference I'm 5'4 and 140 lbs so if it compressed with my weight, a larger person might have even more problems. I didn't find it to have any smell after the initial "airing out" period. I did lose my sense of smell with COVID but this arrived before I had that particular symptom. And my sense of smell has returned fully - I don't detect any scent remaining in the room/from the topper. I have a "natural latex" topper on my "real" bed and that thing has lasted 10 years without taking impressions from our body weight, so my expectations for the life of a topper might be skewed. I think this would be appropriate for light/occasional use or a child's bed.
