I looked over so many reviews for a mattress topper that didn't sleep hot, wouldn't dent in to the point I was sleeping in a hole and could replace my old topper with that was too soft. My mattress is old and quite hard. I was waking up or trying to fall asleep with a lot of pain. I bought a full even though my bed is queen sized as from experience I find these tend spread out after sleeping on them for a week. This is my one month review... arrived well packed and vacuum sealed. I put it on top of the bed for about 8 hours before laying it under my comforter. Thankfully, it was lightweight so one person can do this easily. There was a slight odor the first 2 nights that bothered me somewhat, but not anything horrific. Gone after 48 hours. The first 5 nights I wasn't sure if I would keep it as I couldn't really find a comfortable spot for my shoulders, hip and back. The sixth night the topper seemed to adjust to my body and I slept well. The 7th night through the following 3 weeks, the topper has been life-changing. It feels wonderful from the time I get into bed to the time I barely want to get up in the morning as it's so comfortable - supportive, yet soft. No indents that I fall into like my old one! While it's not cooling, it doesn't heat up with body heat and cause sweating. My back, shoulders, hips and neck are no longer in spasm when I wake. It did spread/flatten out to fit my smaller queen-size bed as I thought it would, but it's not flat at all after a month and 2 days. I use it with the textured side up and smooth side against my mattress. I intentionally ordered the 2 inch as my experience with 3-4 inch toppers is they do sink in where you're laying. This one is perfect. I don't know how long this topper will remain this comfortable and supportive. At this point in time I can safely say if you're someone with a bad back and in my case also a cancer patient, I would highly recommend it. I truly don't want to get out of the comfort of my bed now. It just cradles all the aching muscles and bones to the point I don't feel any pain. There's also no shifting or slipping of the topper. I bought it when Amazon was running a coupon on it so it was under 40.00. What a steal for a wonderful night of sleep. Just give it a week to conform to your body type. I weigh 138 at 5'7 and it's perfect.

I was eager to give another mattress topper product a try. I'd previously purchased one of the cloth mattress toppers that has cotton to fill a quilted style topper and noticed that after several washes it doesn't work as effectively as it first did. This one is made of foam, almost egg crate style, and is lightweight. You have to let it plump up after arrival like you'd expect with crushed memory foam. I actually sleep with it upside down on my bed because the ridges felt good at first under my sensitive back but later seemed like 'too much'. So far, so good. It's comfortable and lightweight enough that I can manipulate it on the bed myself if it starts to shift beneath my fitted sheet. Pros: Lightweight, affordable, easy to install Cons: Not sure how one would 'wash' it, it does sometimes bubble up with movement beneath the fitted sheet at which point I pull against both sides to flatted in back out I would purchase this again.

Buying these things are tricky. I had one similar to this for many years; it was great, I loved sleeping on it, so I searched for one that was as close to it as I thought. But it is really hard to know until you unpack it and sleep on it for several days. This one doesn't seem to be the same quality as the one I had before, but I bought my old one in a department store and don't remember the brand. This one is comfortable enough, but the foam doesn't seem as sturdy or supportive. We'll see how it holds up over time. Also, I bought a queen size and it's a little wider, but that's okay, just have to work a little extra hard to get the fitted sheet over it.

I was looking for two things in a mattress topper: 1) Pain relief since I have severe back and neck pain and 2) Something that wouldn’t turn our bed into a sauna because my husband sleeps hot already. We have slept on it for a week now and this thing has really delivered! It’s incredibly comfortable to sleep on, I am waking up most mornings without back pain, and it doesn’t make the bed hot. My husband loves it too! A couple of things: - I never experienced any strange odors - Even though it plumped up quickly after I opened it, I let it air out for a full 24 hours before putting it on the bed - I covered it with a mattress protector because you can’t wash it, it will help keep it in place, and the sheets don’t look lumpy. - It won’t help with neck pain, so I’ve invested in new pillows.

This was perfect. Lumpy bumpy bed turned into a slumber oasis. Do let it air out when you first upwrap it as it has a chemical smell at first but that disappates quickly! No more sore hips,back, or neck! Just the right thickness for support!

It is extremally soft in the middle. at first it felt how the graphics shows which spot is more firm but now the middle area is way too soft and makes you completely dip. My wife and I cant sleep on it if were both on it as it will sink her to me and im only 170lbs. It has agitated my prior back surgeries and my sleep. I would for sure refund it if i could but im a week off the return window. Very disappointed!
