I can only comment on the 12-in model. However it's the perfect size for the type of work I was doing which included up to 1 1/4 (od) galvanized fittings and 3/4 pipe. Good grip and no problems and easy to hold handle. Very sturdy. I like it better than harbor freight's version :)

Looks cheap but it works very well. Sturdy with sharp teeth that grip brass well. I didn’t pay for beauty, just a good working tool. And that’s what I got. Well done. I ordered one more.
