Just bought 3rd one!
Color: Sunset
Just bought 3rd one so wife and teenage kids all have their own. Very lightweight yet strong and not easy to tip. Sit on are much safer than sit in for the kids. Great product, highly recommend

Perfect boat for larger paddlers
Color: Déjà vu
Tribe 11.5 is the perfect boat for a larger paddler! I'm 5'11 and large in the seat. This boat is so comfortable!!! I can fully stretch out in the boat and not have my legs get cramped up. The seat is framed and very comfortable on the back. It's wide enough for me not to feel cramped. It moves really nice in the water - really nice. This is my first kayak and I'm thrilled at how stable it feels and how easy it is to move through the water. I haven't had it on rough water yet - but so far I'm very pleased. ... show more

Great Kayak-poor delivery
Color: Déjà vu
Great boat! Tracks well, stable, and super comfortable. Very, very had to find this specific boat. Amazon made a mess of the delivery; missed delivery dates, said it was delivered weeks before it actually was, and essential lost the boat in transit. That said, it did arrive in perfect condition. Additionally, you don't need scupper plugs to enjoy this Kayak as some have indicated. ... show more

Perception Tribe 11.5
The Tribe is a well made, quality kayak. It tracks very well, is fairly maneuverable, and has tons of space for dry bags and gear. The fixed foot rests (like all fixed foot rests it seems) are not perfectly comfortable to me. It might just take some time to get used to. The back rest is a bit too high with no support for the lower back. I might add a webbing strap or switch out the seat. Overall I am pleased with it, as I needed to add a sit on top to my collection for the days when the knees are not too good. ... show more

Great kayak and delivery service!
Color: Sunset
I ordered this very hard to find Perception Tribe kayak from Amazon on Wednesday evening (Aug 11) and it was delivered in perfect condition on Saturday morning (Aug 14). Delivered by 'Amazon' truck and drivers. Very impressed with speed and condition of kayak on delivery. We own two other Perception Tribe kayaks (9.5 and 11.5). Have been looking to get two more of same for over a year and very hard to find due to pandemic supply and demand issues. Jusy happened on to this Tribe 11.5 on Amazon and it showed several in stock so ordered one. And wala....had it in my garage 3 days after ordering. These are great all around recreational kayaks. Seats and built in foot rests make them very comfortable. My advice - spend the extra $ these cost vs buying something half the price that is not Perception. ... show more

Great kayak for the ocean
I absolutely love this kayak! I purchased this for the purpose of going on short sea voyages and it does a fantastic job. It's got great maneuverability and great stability which is very helpful when it comes to ocean chop. This is also a great kayak for beginners. Highly recommend!

Good kayak. Arrived damaged. That's on Amazon.
Color: Sunset
Kayak was delivered with significant scratches and scuffing down most of the right side. There is also a large scuff on the left front. The damage is into the plastic but does not compromise “sea worthiness”. I don’t know if the where during the delivery process the damage occurred but it’s terribly disappointing to spend $800 on a kayak and receive it with damages. To quote an observer "it doesn't look like new kayak". Should have known better than to order something that doesn't fit in a box from Amazon. ... show more
