Features

  • Stable: The tunnel hull offers maximum stability for a secure and steady ride. It also makes it incredibly easy to get in and out of the kayak. Its wide and flat deck platform allows you to safely stand up to cast lines and reel in fish without tripping over your gear.
  • Comfortable: The ERGOBOOST seating system is one of our most comfortable fishing chairs. It's adjustable to allow a higher seating position and better angle of vision while also outfitted with a comfortable EVA seat pad and convenient under seat storage.
  • Safe: Our unique manufacturing process allows us to include additional flotation inside the hull of all of our sit-on-tops in order to meet or surpass ABYC standards. The Catch Mode 110 holds a maximum weight capacity of 375 lb. The kayak's hull design also provides exceptional stability to ensure peace of mind during your ride.
  • Lightweight: Our kayaks are made of an exceptionally durable high molecular weight polyethylene, requiring less materials to be built. Weighing 63 LB, this kayak is lighter than our competitors and easy to transport. At 10 ft 8 in, you wont need any help to load this kayak as you head to your preferred fishing spot.
  • Rod holders: 3 flush-mount rod holders allow you to store your fishing rods out of the way but within reach.

  • Great power kayak for the money.
Color: Granite Style: Catch Mode 110 with Transom Mount
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I wanted a kayak for supporting divers with underwater cleanups and needed one with trolling mount. Nothing like trying to pull 100lbs of dead crabtraps and tires with lift bags attached in 2 foot seas and 8knts of wind paddling is a chore I needed power and this fit the bill. It has good stability and lots of room on the deck. I can also stand if need be or kneel to unhook the lift bag which I could not do safely without tipping over and possibly getting dumped with my old sit on top or sit in kayaks. Stability: good setup with trolling motor mount Value for money: another vendor wanted 400.00 more for same kayak! Works well: Does what I need it to do. ... show more

  • It's ginormous
Color: Granite Style: Catch Mode 110 with Rudder
I love it honestly. I feel that I can breathe again when I'm out on the water. This kayak is very stable but HUGE. Because of the odd shape of the wider hull, I highly recommend using bungee cords instead of straps to secure it to your kayak cart. This way, as it slides it gets pulled back into place. Or you could put additional padding on the cross racks on your kayak cart. Because of the handles on the kayak, if you're using those soft strap on racks for your car roof, make sure you put some padding under the handles so they don't dent your car when you tighten the straps. Keep in mind too, if you're a new kayaker, this kayak is built more for stability than speed. It is going to go a LOT slower than the kayaks with pointed ends, but it's a lot harder to top. If you were going for fast, get one of the ones that's pointed instead. Good luck, and make sure you wear your pfd!! P.s. the kayak does not come with wooden plank flooring. I added that on. 👌 ... show more

Love this kayak! Very stable. Use it for fishing. It is a little heavy to move very far by yourself.

  • ADDICTED!!
Color: Granite Style: Catch Mode 110 with Rudder
Just got to finally go out and try out my pelican catch, its light but dont fool your self and get a cart for transport. It was very easy to maneuver around the lake, and ive never sat in a kayak before, so far it seems very durable and for the cost its a nice entry level kayak. Im addicted.

  • Extremely Disappointed – Safety Hazard and Loss of Gear
Color: Granite Style: Catch Mode 110 with Transom Mount
I was really excited about purchasing the Pelican Catch Mode 110 after saving up for quite some time. I took it out for its first use, purchased new through Amazon, and was looking forward to making memories with my girlfriend. Unfortunately, things went terribly wrong. While paddling through the mangroves, the kayak started taking on water unexpectedly. I managed to paddle to a sandbar, but eventually, the kayak capsized due to the amount of water in it. It took me 30-45 minutes to try and drain it out, injuring myself in the process. But as I was heading back to the ramp, it began taking on water again, and I ended up flipping over completely. I lost all my gear, including my phone, which is essential for both work and personal life. The worst part is that bystanders on a nearby boat saw us struggling and came to assist. I was exhausted and could have drowned if not for their help. A local park ranger also came out to assist. This was an extremely traumatic experience, and I feel devastated not just by the loss of my gear, but by how unsafe the kayak was during its first use. I am reaching out to Pelican directly to resolve this, but I wanted to share this experience here so others are aware of the potential issues with this kayak. ... show more

  • Pickup Truck of Kayaks
Color: Venom Style: Catch Mode 110 with Rudder
The media could not be loaded. I love this kayak more and more each time I take it out. You can do a 180 pretty easily with minimal effort that too can be bad as you're rear will try to drift around alot without the skeg down. It's tracks pretty straight for under 11' with the skeg down. Main benefit to me is all the large flat space on it. You can toss a milk crate behind the seat 💺 and there's room on each side. During a lake camping trip I probably had 200 pounds of glamping stuff and fishing tackle and my friend even had to toss a bag on the front because his was over loaded. It'll hold weight well and you don't feel worried about tipping over at all it's almost 3 feet wide. It's down sides are it is slow you will not win any speed race with it. It is almost too wide I rub sides with my paddle and it's 96" inches. It is alot of money for a plastic boat essentially. I waited till it was on sale. The seat can be comfortable but after a few hours it's like any seat you want to stand. Not really worth it on the ground outside of the kayak but an option. Things I love it can hold any amount of gear safely. I was picking up cinder blocks off a gravel bar because I could lol even on holiday weekends boats flying down the river their wake doesn't bother me at all. If you carry to much stuff or like to pick things up as you paddle along this is the perfect kayak 👍 👌 ... show more
