Easy enough to put together. Quality is adequate—cheaper materials, but doesn’t look as cheap. I’m happy with it. Soft, works well and doesn’t fall if you put enough tension. It def shakes when they jump on it, but apparently I’ve done it tight enough that it doesn’t fall anymore. It fell twice at the beginning when I got it 5 months ago because I didn’t have it tight enough, but it hasn’t fallen since. All the cats love jumping/running up it because it is sturdy enough. I did not use the strap attached to one of the shelves to secure it to the wall. If you look hard enough, you’ll see I also twist the shelves in different directions to make it easier to climb. My cats have never really had a cat tree before/haven’t had access to high places most of their lives (cats are currently 7 & 8 years old, and roommates 6 month old kitten). They’re all loving it.

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this item to put between two "canopy catwalk benches" my husband and I built. We wanted to avoid drilling into the wall as much as possible. In lieu of cat shelves and stairs mounted to the wall to give access to the top of the "canopy catwalk" we decided to go with this floor to ceiling cat tree. It is easy to put together. But we are not tall. It was difficult to tighten to the proper tension for our ceiling. The cactus nub is adorable. I'd prefer a big leaf, to go with my theme here, but the cats do love to smack it and watch it wiggle. It's simply stuffing, but it does wiggle (lol) The shelves are SHORT. It is simply for climbing and sitting. Laying if a small cat or kitten. My fatcat takes up more than the shelf when she sits. Her rolls and limbs hang off. I do wish the shelves were a little longer... but it looks like, if you wanted to, carpet some wood, drill a hole where you want it, and slide it in.. we may do that soon, and make the shelf line up with the wall. Fun product. Make sure you secure it!!

Love, the concept and build oh and coloration is solid. Simple directions to follow. I’m sure our big kitty will make his way up to the top. Also recommend getting the hex head bit for your drill to make the process easier on wrist and time a bit quicker.

I really do hate leaving 1 star reviews, but I unfortunately feel that this is necessary. The tree is put together by twisting the pieces into each other. Unfortunately the material used to connect the pieces is pretty inexpensive and flimsy plastic. It snapped off and fell down within a week. I figured it was just a fluke so I didn't bother to get a refund, just to avoid the hassle. Instead I just took one of the top pieces and screwed it into the position with the broken piece. Soon after, the same thing happened and another piece snapped off and actually fell onto me while I was sleeping. For the record, I have only one cat and he's nowhere near overweight. I feel like this product could be fixed with stronger material, and possibly more QA testing. It looks really nice and it was easy to assemble! It's just a shame it wasn't strong enough to last more than a month. Definitely would recommend looking at other options.

I was excited to get this package and see that everything was super well organized, all the pieces were intact and seemed sturdy enough. It wasn’t too hard to put together and was fine for what it was (I’m personally not very into these carpet looking trees). HOWEVER, this tree is supposed to fit ceilings up to a certain height—it says nowhere that any height in between wouldn’t work. On the directions there are different configurations depending on the height of your ceiling. Unfortunately neither worked for my ceiling height (about 100 in). The highest tier made it too high for my ceiling, and the range below was too short (and too unstable when stretched to its highest) to reach my ceiling. I really wanted this to work because it was pretty low profile and versatile, but I would have had to make some major alterations on my own to make anything work.

So far, it has proved sturdy and reliable; my eleven-pound Siamese confidently climbs and descends with minimal swaying & shaking - a pleasant surprise for such a tall, thin, minimalist design, which allows us to give our aforementioned Siamese a good amount of (vertical) new space to climb & lounge, at minimal cost to our (horizontal) living space. We live in San Francisco, where one values every square inch of limited living space, so you can imagine how useful this is to us. And finally, this thing is ridiculously easy to assemble; I started watching an episode of 'The Golden Girls' as I began, and was finished building about two-thirds of the way through the show. Oliver (our Siamese) was already chilling in the hammock as the closing credits were rolling (~25 minutes later). That's outstanding. 👍🏽
