This was a very good buy at the $60 price. My cat really seems you enjoy it and even bats around the hanging puffballs. Even when he’s near the top, there isn’t a whole lot of wobble (it is definitely more stable on a hard floor though, as opposed to carpet). The plush covering is nice and soft. All of the platforms are large enough to be useable with the top perch being large enough for normal sized cats. The "cat house" is a good size with an adequate entryway. Assembly was pretty easy and no extra tools were needed; just the included Allen wrench. Took about 30 minutes. The cons to this cat tree are minimal. The manufactured wood does have a slight chemical smell (mostly when the box is first opened) but not very noticeable once it’s assembled. Assembly is fairly easy, but the first step takes a little time and patience. You must install the column posts inside the little cat house. It takes some effort to get them installed vertically and then lined up with the screw holes. After that's accomplished, it’s a breeze. Also, the round "hammock" is very small for an adult cat and not really useable for napping. Overall, I’m really happy with this and would certainly recommend it to others.

The media could not be loaded. So...if you're on the fence I'll hopefully help you. Originally I chose the slim stand from this same company for cheaper. It was too narrow for my very agile outdoor/ indoor cat to use so I returned that one and bought this one. It's slim enough to fit in a small area in my bedroom. She likes to hang out in my bedroom, away from the family chaos and noise to sleep and relax and chooses my bed, especially my headboard as a scratcher. I put this together in about an hour with the help of a 5 year old that is capable of putting this together by herself honestly lol. Directions were very easy to understand. The most difficult thing was step 1 where you have to put the poles inside the cat house for stability. I couldn't see the screw holes so a flashlight did the trick. Then it was clear sailing from there. My cat Daisy was inside every single part of this as we put it together. Let me rewind.... she somehow knew this cat tree was in the box before I even opened it. She was jumping on the box... which is crazy. Then she was on every level as we built it. She is now sleeping in the top bed, extremely comfy. I literally can't believe how much she loves this cat tree. She was even playing with the balls included. Plus they give you an extra one as a future replacement. I didn't attach this to the wall since it seems quite sturdy. It's the perfect size for a small area and seems made well. I'm happy I decided to return the other one and get this one. Hopefully she'll use the scratching posts too. Definitely recommend.

My daughter has been looking for a good tree to put in her room so he can get to her bed. Our family has two cats, Qibli, a ginger and white cat who is about 12.2 pounds, and Theo, an orange tabby cat who is mostly likely 10 or 11 lbs. I needed a tree that would hold at least one of them and fit in a smaller area (at most, 19"x19") and this one was perfect for it. I couldn't find the weight limit of this but I saw that there were multiple bigger cats on it in the reviews. The tree seems very sturdy and stable. It took about an hour to an hour and a half to assemble, which I think is a fair amount of time. Qibli hasn't gotten up by himself for too long, maybe 30-60 seconds but I bet that he will warm up to it. Theo seems to love it! Once I put him up there, he just settled in and looked so comfortable. He's stayed up there probably for 10 minutes. The balls are very nice as well, they are screwed in instead of stapled so you can choose if you want them in or not which is amazing. I think you're getting what or more than what you payed for-so far. I might try to edit this in a month or two for a status report but so far, I would totally recommend this to others.
