I got the lightest color since I’m very fair. This basically looks like geisha makeup. So very white and I used my own makeup applicator since they give a brush that does nothing. It’s difficult to get a good amount on the sponge. Thats what happens when you take the cheap route

After I ordered I realized it wasn’t the doll brand it’s off name , but to my surprise on my 55 yr old face looks pretty good. My skin looks better with it than with out so I give 5 stars on that.

Like other reviewers, I ordered the "Light" thinking it was like other foundations. When I tried to apply a couple of things didn't make sense. 1. the brush it came with is flimsy and thin, it didn't apply the foundation well. I ended up using the pad it came with instead. 2. the foundation is not balm like at all, it seemed hard and difficult to get onto the pad, it was not easy to apply evenly. 3. the shade was so light, I ended up putting my darker foundation over it to help blend in some color. I don't think this is a great product at all, although the idea seemed good. I guess if you aren't paying $50-60 for your foundation, your paying for something like this.

The label on the makeup says dark but it was for a person of very pale skin Once I applied it, I looked like a ghost. It felt like Halloween makeup. Makeup is not accurate and the packaging is deceiving. What I ordered and what I got were two different products. This was a low budget makeup with a peculiar odor.

I expected this to be much more creamy because it was listed as a balm, hydrating, and for mature skin. But I found that it does not go on smoothly but instead is almost a cream powder. It leaves little specks in my pores. I also was worried because I have very pale skin and freckles (now age spots), and I often need a light shade. I got this in the light shade (not the fair/light shade), and figured that it would just give me a little color as I expected it would be a little dark for my skin (as I thought the fair/light would be for pale skin). I was wrong. I can't imagine what the fair/light shade looks like as the light shade is almost white. You can see in my photo (I have it on all over and I put some extra on the side of my chin so you can see the color) that it is very white. I really liked the packaging as they give you a brush and a sponge pad. If only the balm were a little more creamy and the color a little more skin toned. I do like how my skin feels when it is on as it is hydrating once you get it spread on. But again it doesn't look smooth on the skin close up.
