This case is sturdy and protective. The stand rotates all the way around, and allows my iPad to stand nearly perpendicular to the table for reading or FaceTime. I like my old strap a little better,but this strap connects easily - just slip the “strings” through the slots on the sides, and then clip on the strap. The case is doing it's job. It's been dropped a few times and taken great care of my iPad. I know that if my kids use my iPad it will be safe. I have a love-hate relationship with the silicone wrap. It makes it tedious to put into a bag because it grabs onto everything around it.

It nice but the pencil holder is in an awkward position so you can’t carry the iPad by the handle/stand. There’s a strap but the stand is very sturdy. Would keep it but other holders have the pencil holder separate from the stand itself.

I'm too embarrassed to say exactly how often I drop my phone and iPad. I once had 3 phones in 2 months. So yeah sadly, I'm a total spaz with my electronics. And I swear the very day we had hard tile floors put into our home, I started dropping EVERYTHING. Anything remotely fragile was going down 100% guaranteed. And I became a juggler of electronic devices. As their drop numbers easily doubled. Samsung's use of gorilla glass on their phones in recent years is the only reason I've been able to keep a working phone. And while the glad remains in tact, I t makes me nervous wondering what effect all of the drops and tumbles will ultimately have on the inner workings over time. So far so good for now. -HOWEVER- my poor ipads have not faired so well. I've killed a couple in one drop. Welp knows what madness exists on my world that I was actually not stopped me from buying a simple portfolio case... For anything really. But certainly not for an iPad. I'm surprised it didn't just end itself that moment. But it waited a few weeks. 2 iPads down and my sister half joking began looking into child proof iPad cases

I bought a new iPad and found there were almost no cases that just fit around the edge anymore. An ipad is pretty slippery and it needs something to allow you to hold it safely, as well as protecting it if it falls. After literally days of looking I bought this one. And I love it. It feels beefy and makes the ipad so easy to hold, and protects its edges. I don't use the enclosed screen shield because I had a safety shield put on the iPad at Best Buy already and didn't want the additional buffer on the screen. It also has a cool circular thing on the back that allows you to stand the ipad up horizontally or vertically. I recommend this one if you just want a simple way to protect your ipad!
