You can set it up at basically any angle. The play circle thingy in the back is sturdy and won’t collapse. You have to use some force to put it on but it’s not complicated at all. The silicon/foam like material is thick and foamy that the shock of the fall is absorbed. My kid throws his iPad, it was thrown out of a moving car, and a van ran over it; and it didn’t crack. I’ll be buying again.

I needed a case that actually allowed it to stand up regardless of being upright or sideways. This fit the bill perfectly!! The colors and design choices are great and the case itself is so functional. This is the only case I've seen to actually stand up - I needed it to be upright or portrait in addition to horizontally, most only do one and then fall after awhile. This stayed up either way and stayed up - it also has a huge loop on the back that rotates which allows you to hang it up and stand it in a pocket, etc. So versatile, there had literally never been another case that does all this.

iPad is a bit loose inside the case but not much. iPad’s depth is less than a mm short of fitting perfectly. Overall, it’s a great case, beautiful color pattern, useful handle/stand. Passed the Toddler Durability Test except for the handle. Plastic handle fatigued and cracked. iPad Air 3

I purchased this for my 7 year old child who has autism, I needed something that was durable and would give maximum protection for their iPad that is used for therapy services as well as for entertainment. Its been over 6 months since we bought this and it’s holding up great, it’s easy to put on and easy to clean. This case along with a high quality screen protector has kept their expensive iPad perfectly safe during countless tantrums where the iPad was quite literally thrown across the room, slammed onto tables and floors. I have recommended this case to many other parents with young children, I truly can not recommend it enough. I’d also like to note, at first I was nervous because of the reviews from people whose iPad broke while putting this case on but if you use common sense and don’t bend the device itself then it isn’t going to break. The case isn’t what broke their iPad, it broke because they tried to bend the device to put the case on instead of bending the cushion part of the case around the device.
