Penn is makes quality reels, I can't say how much I really like the spinfisher Series of reels and have one just about in every size and function. BUT, they aren't 100 percent maintenance free. They can last a lifetime but you need to do general tune ups from time to time. But nothing severe. If your reel needs a total rebuild it's best to just send it to Penn and have them over haul it for a nominal price. But this grease is great, not just for Penn reels but for other's you may have where you need to add extra lube into the internal chassis, or just lubing the spool shaft, etc. Clearly it's a water proof grease and is very tacky. This 2oz can should last you a long long time as you don't use that much.. ... show more
