Very smooth and quiet reel for casting and for reeling in fish. The fine wrapping of the line helps with casting distance. I am running 30 lb braid on two of these reels. One reel got more wind knots because I was running a different brand of braid. Spider Wire runs fine but the other brand had enough wind knots that u ended up stripping off about 50 feet of line.
