They seem to be and acceptable replacement for the manufacturer cartridges. They are way cheaper and so far I have printed Maybe 200 pages and everything works and looks great.

These cartridges work great in my Canon printer. They come with good documentation of what to expect and troubleshooting if necessary. Other non OEM cartridges I've tried leaked or weren't acknowledged by my printer. Just the way they were packaged gave me a good feeling about their quality.

Sometimes remanufactured ink arrives dry or does not print as dark as name brands. So far I have had none of these issues with this brand. As far as how long it lasts, I am not there yet! But, I've printed more than the regular (non-XL) cartridges and it's still going, so at the very least is worth that since this XL duo is cheaper than the name -brand standard. Arrived in one day as advertised. Came well packed and protected. Came with printed installation instructions, troubleshooting information and an alcohol cleaning pad (which I did not need). I put them in an eight year printer that had never been used. I did not trust the original ink cartridges in the box. The Penguin Remanufactured Printer Ink Cartridges worked fine, no installation problems at all. The print quality is good. I cannot comment on the long term usability though because Amazon sends review requests before anyone has a chance to use the product?? ... show more
