This Peaboni pencil is a versatile replacement for the Apple Pencil 2 that works well with the iPad Pro (10th Gen, 2023 model). It charges, and attaches, magnetically when at the side of the iPad (as well as separately through a USB-C cable) and works with the tilt sensitivity built into the iPad OS. Connecting the pencil to the iPad is performed by connecting to the "iPencil" indication in the bluetooth connection screen (it is necessary to "forget" the OEM "Apple Pencil" connection for this replacement to work), Although it has an on/off switch on the top, if it is left on when attached to the side of the iPad it will wake automatically when taken off the iPad for use. In these ways it is matches the the OEM model. In addition, however, it has an interesting feature which is enabled by pushing the on/off switch while using it: 1X brings the iPad back to its home screen, 2X displays the mission control screen (described as the multitasking view) and 3X takes a screenshot. Finally, 10 replacement nibs and 2 replacement USB-C port covers are included in the package. All in all this is easily the best replacement for the OEM pencil that I have tried. It connects easily, charges and attaches magnetically and writes well and consistently. What's more is that it does all that the OEM model does at a fraction of the cost. I think this is a 5 star product that should be at, or near, the top of any replacment list for those looking for a replacement, or additional, Apple Pencil 2. This is a very straight-forward and easy to use replacement for an Apple Pencil. This is easy to turn on and off and it is easy to know when the power is on or off based off of the lighting around what would be the eraser end of the pencil. I did not have to go into settings in order to pair this pencil; I simply turned it on and it worked straight away. It is sensitive and doesn’t appear to lag more than the first Apple Pencil will. Lag is more dependent on which software is being used rather than the pencil itself. It magnetically attaches, which is an easy and wonderful way to keep up with it. It is also a great way to charge the pencil if you have the proper iPad to charge it wirelessly (we are using this with a 10th gen iPad, so it will not charge that way with this iPad, unfortunately). This pencil feels much like the Apple Pencil, as well. It charges via USB-C and comes with a tiny cable to use for charging, but no brick. I like that it comes it’s a rubber protector for the USB-C port to help keep it free of dust an debris, but I personally removed it and don’t plan to use it moving forward. This is super nice in that it includes 10 pencil replacement tips. In four years, I may have gone through 2, tops 3 pencil tips and I use my Apple Pencil regularly, though I do not have a heavy hand. This could mean that this could last longer than you would need it to before you would need to purchase replacement tips. Overall, this is a great purchase to replace an Apple Pencil if you are not keen on having some of the features that only Apple’s pencil offers. If you are looking for no frills, easy charging, easy pairing, and plenty to replacement tips to last, this is your pencil and I highly recommend it.

This apple pencil replacement works just as intended for simple task. the biggest thing missing is the pressure sensitivity - meaning if you just need a replacement pencil NOT for art this is for you. love the extra nibs always nice to have replacements. and the usb C charging port is the best , if you have an incompatible case you can still charge your pencil without having to risk taking out your ipad. with that said the usb C covers does make it stick out a bit when charging magnetically which i dont like. The pencil connect via bluetooth and you can see the charge status in the battery widget. the button is a cool added feature and works pretty good so you dont have to touch the screen: 1- home, 2 task manager, 3- screenshot. needs to be turned on if it goes to sleep when not magnetically attached otherwise it activates when you remove it from the ipad.

Both my daughter and I have older iPads- hers is probably 4 years old and mine is at least 3, so not new by any means technology-wise. This pencil did great pairing with both of them. I have not used any of the special features, just drawn lines and used to open apps and whatnot. I did try it with my iPhone 14 and it didn't work. It came with a charging cord, a couple of extra little caps for the C cable port, and extra pencil tips. I would imagine the pencil will be lost long before I would ever need the tips, as my daughter has already claimed it. Not a big deal though, as it can be easily replaced. Great value.

This isn't an official Apple Pencil, but it's a solid alternative, especially considering the significantly lower price. While there are some compromises, they're pretty minor. You still get about 90% of the functionality of the real deal. It has good magnetic strength and supports wireless charging. The main drawback is the need to manually pair it via Bluetooth. It also features a button on the "eraser" end for turning it on and off, though it lacks the double-tap functionality. It's lighter than the Apple Pencil, which you might consider either a plus or a minus.

It's okay I like the tips and the pencil its self is really comfortable. I like the fact it shuts itself off when not in use for so long but it definitely does not wirelessly charge.
