Works better than I expected. I wasn’t interested in spending the money for the Apple Pencil. I wouldn’t get the value out of it at that price, so I was looking for a budget alternative. I stumbled on this and it’s better than I thought it would be. I highly recommend this if you’re on a budget.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I’m overall happy with the pencil. I’m sure Apple makes a better one of course it’s $100. The color is nice, grip is okay (would have been great if it were hexagonal like a real pencil). Wish it had slightly more weight like the Apple Pencil. Charge’s wirelessly so there really wasn’t a need for them to add a port with a white rubber cover that’s sure to get lost leaving the port exposed. I believe Apple Pencil has pressure sensitivity but honestly…it won’t even matter unless you’re using a $15 professional sketching app. Speaking of which, I tried about 20 drawing and note taking apps. They ALL have a monthly fee (like most apps these days). So unless you really think that you’re going to take notes or write or draw…then it’s something you will never ever use. BUT becomes a bit addictive once in your hand (until you realize that you can’t use it for gestures or sliding hidden menus from the top of the screen)

Cannot make connected lines on procreate. The pencil takes a million taps to register and draw a line. When drawing lines the pencil keeps disconnecting/ not registering and create broken lines :/

I purchased a brand new iPad Air 13". I dropped and broke my 12.9" iPad Pro, which is about 4 years old. When I got my new iPad I was shocked to find out my Apple Pencil would not work with it and I would have to shell out another $130 to get the Apple Pencil Pro. I also had an older Logitech Crayon, which worked just fine with my new iPad. But somehow their own pencil won't. Unfortunately, I lost my Logitech Crayon while traveling. I got this as a replacement, hoping it would work, AND IT DOES! Works great. Feels good. Maybe a tiny bit lighter than my old pencil but fits just right in the molded pencil holder on my case. It charges easily with a USB-C cable. Glad I got this and recommend as a replacement.

It works fine if you’re just taking notes I guess, but it was a bummer as an artist who relies on pressure sensitivity for line weight :( Works well for the price, but it’s not all that useful for drawing. I mean, I can still use it, but it’s kind of a pain. Guess I gotta spring for the pricey apple one after all.
