I picked up this cold shoe adapter to mount my DJI Pocket 3 on top of my DSLR for behind-the-scenes filming, and it turned out to be one of the most useful little accessories I’ve added to my setup despite me still trying to perfect how to use it when I'm moving fast. It’s lightweight and has a minimal footprint, but it holds the camera securely without any wobble or shifting during handheld shooting or movement-heavy situations. The fit with the Pocket 3 expansion adapter is spot-on and tight. It clicks in and doesn’t get in the way of other controls on my DSLR, which is a huge plus when I’m working. As far as quality goes, it does feel plasticky, but it seems like it’ll hold up for regular use. For something this small, it adds a lot of functionality without adding weight, which is key when trying to keep gear streamlined. For what it costs, this is excellent value. It feels 3D Printed, super flimsy. It didn't fit properly and bowed, which was concerning. I don't believe it's a good value when a smallrig metal part is of a comparable price. I picked up this DJI Osmo Pocket 3 hot shoe mount so I could run my Fujifilm for horizontal shots while simultaneously getting vertical video on the Osmo—and it’s been a game-changer. No more juggling setups or missing moments while switching rigs. It fits perfectly on my camera’s hot shoe, feels secure (at least for the first few hours), and gives me a clean, compact dual-camera setup that makes me feel like I’m running a tiny broadcast studio. During my shoots, I’ve loved how easy it is to position the Osmo exactly where I want it. The mount feels sturdy, doesn’t get in the way of my main camera’s controls, and has survived a couple of “oops” bumps without a hitch. It’s been great for interviews, events, and behind-the-scenes footage when I need both orientations at once. My clients love getting content optimized for both platforms instantly, and I love not having to carry a second tripod around. The only reason it’s a 4-star instead of 5 is that on longer shoots (I’m talking 5–6 hours), the screw tends to loosen a little, and I find myself pausing to retighten it. Not a dealbreaker by any means, but something to keep in mind if you’re doing marathon filming sessions.
