Description

Pelican Protector Cases are made with Copolymer Polypropylene, using an open cell core and solid wall construction, which is stronger and lighter that the completion. You can tell its a Pelican case by the distinctive "twin-ribbed" top surface. Stainless steel pins are used for hinges and handles. The new Double-Throw latches are much easier to open.

This is my forth Pelican case (for rifle, pistol, etc.), so be advised this may be a biased review. I have absolutely trust in Pelican cases since using them in my military days for sensitive equipment. My Panasonic G7 with two fixed aperature lenses deserve a rugged, protective case to follow me on adventures. I put the lens in the middle for better weight distribution/center of gravity, with camera body and Rode mic flanking the lenses. Also, I added a mosture absorber. With some measurement before purchasing, everything fits perfectly in the Pelican 1400 case (see photo). Hopefully the Pluck foam serves your application well. Highly recommend Pelican for storage/travel solutions. Don't settle for anything less! ... show more

This is a wonderful case. I ordered it for extra pistol storage and was surprised by how much room I had to work with. It is large enough for extra magazines and a box of ammo or a light while still providing ample security/protection. I will be ordering these again.

I’m a boat captain and need this case for my Nikon camera . It’s padded protection is great for our zodiac boats when underway. I was tired of broken salted stuck zippers and this case solves that perfectly!! Water tight, nice interior, and hard durable exterior. Just all around the best protection.

It is a pelican case. It does exactly what is advertised. It’s bulky, so there is no hiking with this. We usually just store the case until we have to take the camera on a longer trip.
