My older son and I got this for my husband for father's day and husband put it on the car it was easy to use and hook up. The speed is super quick and takes off. You can adjust it my husband told me. He said he was really happy and loves it. The ride is still smooth with this device on its just a way quicker pick up reaction. The quality and fit were great . I highly recommend and yes we would buy again. It is a little expensive but after driving the truck after this was installed I know why and it is worth it.     • Better than advertised ! (Update 2019)

I was almost ready to trade in my truck because of the way it was shifting and the delay between gears, and take off etc. I figured I would give this a try as a last resort as soon as I plugged it in I put it on sport plus one and it is literally like driving a different vehicle the delay in the shifting is gone the bucking is gone between gears and the take off is absolutely incredible the throttle response is unexplainable. If you have a newer GMC or Chevy Sierra or Silverado you really need to buy this you will be the happiest guy in the world. I also have a K&N filter system and a Borla exhaust this just adds to the whole package. (Update) I bought this in April 2018. I am currently having issues with it and was told they can’t help me because it’s past 30 days. Be carful. It was great for 9 months now I can’t use it at all. Disappointed it didn’t even last a year. Be careful. (New update) I contacted Pedal Commander via phone and let them know about the issue I was having. He said they Heard of the issue I was having. I did an update ( free of charge) it was worse. I called them back and they sent me a new one and paid for the shipping to return the old one. Very good customer service... will definitely continue to refer people. ... show more

OK here is the scoop. I read lots of posts about how this is just a gimmick. One even said to just press your gas pedal harder and it will do the same thing. Well I had to find out for myself. Installed it on a 2011 Silverado with the 5.3 engine. I have always hated the throttle response of this truck because it felt so under powered especially when you pulled hills. It woke this bad boy up! After several tries I settled on City plus 2 setting and it is perfect. It feels like a completely different truck. It now feels just like the old throttle cable gas pedals of the past. Instant throttle response. A word of caution. Be very careful and do not set at performance level when raining. It will spin back tires just barely pressing pedal. Pricey for sure but it made enough difference to me to be worth it. It was easy to install. Just hard to get under dash to plug in cables. Buy it. You will not regret it. ... show more

I installed this on a 2018 Silverado 1500 with a 5.3l V8 and the difference is truly amazing. The truck is a Rocky Ridge Altitude Edition (6" suspension lift, Flowmaster exhaust, CAI, and 35" tires. I always felt the truck did not perform the way it should based on the horsepower and torque numbers for the motor. Flooring it from a standstill resulted in an uneventful acceleration that I assumed was all it could do given the overall weight and large tires. My first launch with the Pedal Commander in Sport+ resulted in a burnout!!! Those that think you can achieve the same results by just stepping on the gas faster are wrong. The computer controls the speed at which the throttle body opens so pressing the gas pedal faster has virtually no impact on a stock vehicle. I'm still playing with the settings (36 total) to find the best daily driver option for me, however, knowing what my truck is capable of now with this controller versus the mushy stock launches makes the price totally worth it. Also, this does not void your warranty and can be disconnected in minutes if you need to take it in for service. I was skeptical, but the first launch told me everything I needed to know - this thing is awesome! ... show more

I put this on my 4.8 Sierra, and I'm very happy with that decision. My truck was an absolute dog before installing the Pedal Commander. I could stomp the pedal to the floor from a stop, and the truck felt and sounded like an old, gutless 4 barrel carburetor bogging out. Very disappointing. The change in throttle response with the Pedal Commander is awesome and immediate, it's like getting a new truck, seriously. I played around with the different settings, and ultimately found the one that I liked, I have it set at Sport, +2. I tried the Sport+ settings, and they were just too sensitive for daily driving in my opinion. Some YouTube videos and some online reviews have reported that this will randomly throw your vehicle in "limp mode". I have not experienced that, or any problem since installing this on my truck. Maybe they were playing with the settings while their vehicle was moving, I don't know. I have only ever adjusted the settings while the truck is stopped, and I've had zero issues whatsoever. I absolutely love this thing. I have a 2013 GMC Sierra 2500 HD with Delete and program but have been missing the throttle response. My truck is limited on programming and I was afraid to use this but install was seconds and I am impressed! As far as fuel and what not I’m not sure as I never cared. But this thing met my expectations! After 2 years, my truck started to throw a code and go into limp mode when having this plugged in. I tried to reset and go through process they explained but still throws code. I love the product if it continued to work, but I’m back to slow and laggy. Not sure if the product or the truck, but all signs point to product. Can’t buy new one every 2 years. After a lot of bs, the pedal commander screwed my TCM. After and a few other things, I tried it again, throwing engine code and instant limp mode. Unplugged, cleared code and back to normal. Definitely causes problems long term. Not worth what it put my truck through ... show more

I don't often leave reviews, but I was so impressed with this device I wanted to share my experience. I have a 2022 Sierra Denali Ultimate with the 6.2 liter engine. I have had several Denali's with the 6.2, but for some reason the 2022 pedal response felt a little sluggish. So I wanted to give this device a try. First, the installation was very easy. I had the unit installed within 1 minute's time. The connections were very sturdy and matched the factory plugs perfectly. My device was shipped set to Sport+ as the default. I decide to try that setting and WOW!!!! Way too much response! After a little experimenting, I settled on the regular "Sport" setting +3. For me, this setting is perfect. The truck roars to life with little effort. I can light the tires up by only pressing the accelerator down 1/4 the way! This is exactly what I wanted, as I am used to driving my trucks with this much sensitivity. Obviously, you can dial it back more...or even dial it up, too! The device is perfect at its job. It allows you to access your engine's power easier and allows a tremendous amount of customization. I am very satisfied with my purchase. 5 stars!!!!! ... show more
