I put this on my 4.8 Sierra, and I'm very happy with that decision. My truck was an absolute dog before installing the Pedal Commander. I could stomp the pedal to the floor from a stop, and the truck felt and sounded like an old, gutless 4 barrel carburetor bogging out. Very disappointing. The change in throttle response with the Pedal Commander is awesome and immediate, it's like getting a new truck, seriously. I played around with the different settings, and ultimately found the one that I liked, I have it set at Sport, +2. I tried the Sport+ settings, and they were just too sensitive for daily driving in my opinion. Some YouTube videos and some online reviews have reported that this will randomly throw your vehicle in "limp mode". I have not experienced that, or any problem since installing this on my truck. Maybe they were playing with the settings while their vehicle was moving, I don't know. I have only ever adjusted the settings while the truck is stopped, and I've had zero issues whatsoever. The bottom line is that this product works great, and in no way do I regret buying it.

The Pedal Commander does exactly what it says. The instal was very easy on my 2013 Silverado. I bought the truck new and have always thought the throttle was not right to how much I push the accelerator. I even took it into the dealership thinking something was wrong and was told that is how they are. I have mine set on City +4 mode, the sport mode makes the throttle really sensitive and I haven't tried it on Sport + but it must be extremely sensitive. This device made driving the truck much more enjoyable for me. I have a very sensitive foot and like there to be a response with a slight tip of the throttle, this I can dial in exactly what I like the response to be. The controller is not very big which is nice to put anywhere and hide it well. It is a little pricey but it is keeping me from going out and buying a new truck.

I bought a 2021 colorado and the throttle lag was dangerously bad so I spent the $322 and got this peddle commander. All I have to say is it completely fixed the lag issue I had. Makes driving more enjoyable but you will be tempted to push the gas peddle more burning more fuel the first month of owning it. I keep it on city mode now so there is no lag but not overboard on my vehicle. It works better on some vehicals vs others so read the reviews.

I was almost ready to trade in my truck because of the way it was shifting and the delay between gears, and take off etc. I figured I would give this a try as a last resort as soon as I plugged it in I put it on sport plus one and it is literally like driving a different vehicle the delay in the shifting is gone the bucking is gone between gears and the take off is absolutely incredible the throttle response is unexplainable. If you have a newer GMC or Chevy Sierra or Silverado you really need to buy this you will be the happiest guy in the world. I also have a K&N filter system and a Borla exhaust this just adds to the whole package. (Update) I bought this in April 2018. I am currently having issues with it and was told they can’t help me because it’s past 30 days. Be carful. It was great for 9 months now I can’t use it at all. Disappointed it didn’t even last a year. Be careful. (New update) I contacted Pedal Commander via phone and let them know about the issue I was having. He said they Heard of the issue I was having. I did an update ( free of charge) it was worse. I called them back and they sent me a new one and paid for the shipping to return the old one. Very good customer service... will definitely continue to refer people.

I installed this on a 2018 Silverado 1500 with a 5.3l V8 and the difference is truly amazing. The truck is a Rocky Ridge Altitude Edition (6" suspension lift, Flowmaster exhaust, CAI, and 35" tires. I always felt the truck did not perform the way it should based on the horsepower and torque numbers for the motor. Flooring it from a standstill resulted in an uneventful acceleration that I assumed was all it could do given the overall weight and large tires. My first launch with the Pedal Commander in Sport+ resulted in a burnout!!! Those that think you can achieve the same results by just stepping on the gas faster are wrong. The computer controls the speed at which the throttle body opens so pressing the gas pedal faster has virtually no impact on a stock vehicle. I'm still playing with the settings (36 total) to find the best daily driver option for me, however, knowing what my truck is capable of now with this controller versus the mushy stock launches makes the price totally worth it. Also, this does not void your warranty and can be disconnected in minutes if you need to take it in for service. I was skeptical, but the first launch told me everything I needed to know - this thing is awesome!

I have purchased 2 pedal commanders, one for my 2014. Jeep Wrangler works very well and one for my 2018 GMC 2500 HD. I loved it in the 2500 until it stopped working approximately 3 months after insulation. Out of the blue 1 day I went to pull out from a light normal driving and my truck would not accelerate. I was able to get it to my mechanic. Thankfully, I was close. They put the truck on diagnostics found no errors with the truck. He plugged pedal commander back into the truck and it would not accelerate. I have emailed and emailed. Pedal commander keeps asking the same questions. Asking for the same documents over and over. I keep sending the information until they wear you out. You're not getting anywhere, and you feel totally scammed and defeated. If it works, that's great. But if it does not work, do not expect any respect or customer service from this company. Just a huge waste of time and money. It is like new in the box if someone has the time to go around and around with pedal commander.

Super easy to install on my ‘16 Silverado 1500 4x4 w/5.3. Put it on city +2, and went for a short drive down the street. Definitely makes a difference. The truck definitely has more pep. Not sure if I’ll ever use eco mode, since most of my driving, where I’m concerned about fuel economy, is done using cruise control, and this has no effect while using cruise control. I’ll update this review after a couple of weeks of use. It’s a bit soon to give a thorough review.
