The front of the frames look good. Nice even. But the backing is not well made. The stand was not securely attached, and fell off without a way to put it back on. We thought we could use a glue gun to stick it back on, but we shouldn't have to do that at all. Too bad because it looked nice. I guess they were inexpensive, so that's what we get. It's too good to be true -- $5 for an 8x10 frame.

These really are a wood frame, with matting, and a glass face. The craftsmanship is pertty good, there is a little glue residue in one of the corners but can be cleaned up. I really like the back of the frames- there are multiple ways to hang, and the little necktie thing to stand it on a table. But the swivel tabs are my fave part. Instead of those awful staple things, or little metal pieces that have to be bent down to hold the backing in (ouch!), these frames have flexible swivel tabs. They have a little notch and rotate in easily and hold very well. Unless you have some unique need to have a super high end frame, I would save your money and try these!

This is a nice set of photo frames. They are made of good material and are very heavy duty. You can choose how you want to display these frames. They can be hooked on the wall or put standing on a table. I love the option of having the mat. It gives you the option of having a nice matted 5x7 photo or you can fill the entire frame with an 8x10 photo. I appreciate that these come in a two-pack, so that my two boys' school photos can be hung in the same frame in the same way.
