  • Terrible experience
I had a terrible experience with this product. I didn’t attempt to use this device before the return date expired. This device will accept an input charge and hold said charge, but will not turn off and will not output or charge any devices. Oh but wait the light works! It’s essentially an extremely expensive flashlight at this point, and not a good one. Huge piece of junk. I wouldn’t waste my money… ... show more

  • Good power bank
Works like it should. It's pretty robust. We haven't used it as much as I thought we would, but it powers like it should and charges.

  • Very nice power station with many features
This is a very nice power station and except for one thing, there isn’t anything I don’t like about it (I’ll discuss that later herein). I like that it has a high-capacity built-in battery, so for most applications, like keeping a cell phone charged or powering a 120 VAC LED lamp, it should have plenty of power to run for a long time. Given it’s 300-Watt maximum output power rating, it can easily supply power to a variety of electrical devices such as LED lamps, cell phones, laptop computers, and other devices that use less than 300 Watts. However, I wouldn’t personally try using it to run corded power tools like drills or saws. It has many features I like, such as a 12 VDC cigarette lighter output socket, USB-A and USB-C outputs, two (2) 120 VAC output sockets, DC output sockets, and the ability to be recharged using a solar panel (which isn’t included) or a USB-C charger. The product includes a USB-C charging cube and USB-C cord. So, out of the box, it includes everything needed to charge and use the power station. Additionally, it claims to output pure sine wave AC power, which is better for sensitive electronics than other products which produce an approximation of a sine wave. I’ve tested it by powering 120 VAC LED lamps, charging my cell phone and laptop using the USB outputs, and tried out the built-in flashlight. All features worked as expected. I also appreciate that when turned on, it has a display that shows the remaining capacity and the power being used. The output and input sockets have rubber-like covers that protect the sockets when not in use. This is a feature, but unfortunately the covers don’t really stay in place very well. Additionally, rather than having their hinge points at the top of the covers and opening up, they open down. While this power station should probably not be used in rain, I feel like that if the covers opened in an upward direction and there was some light water splashed – I’m thinking like under a gazebo during rain – the covers would be more effective at minimizing the chance of water getting into the sockets. Additionally, if they opened up, they would be less likely to spontaneously open under the effect of gravity. Other than the way the socket covers open, I really like this product and even given that complaint, I still recommend this product. Perhaps the manufacturer had a reason for designing it as is, or perhaps they’ll read this review and make a slight design change. Because of my complaint about the covers, I’m torn between a 4- or 5-star rating, and if I could, I’d give it 4.5 stars. But because that isn’t an option, I’m going to give it 4 stars. That said, if the features of this power station meet your needs, I wouldn’t let my complaint about the direction in which the covers open stop you from getting this product … I really do like it and I think it will be perfect next time I want electricity away from home, or if the power goes out because of a storm. ... show more

  • Intermittently turn off...
I wanted to like this power pack, bur there was a problem with the unit I received, it turns off intermittently. Charged it overnight to 100%, next day, was powering 4 LED bulbs for a total of 25W draw and the unit kept turning off. It was very frustrating, I was working at night and every 2 minutes, it would turn off and i needed to turn the AC output on again. I don't know if this is a firmware or circuit design issue, either way I'll be looking for a similar unit, but I will nit be trying my luck with this one again, wished it worked, it had everything i was looking for... ... show more

  • Power bank
I haven't even used this yet. Plugged into wall to charge overnight and it won't charge over 96%, unplugged from wall outlet and slowly loses power with nothing running off of it.

  • Very easy to use for disaster preparedness
Okay so my part of town has had some very bad storms rolling through lately - the kind that flicker your lights for hours before taking everything out entirely. I didn't expect to need this thing so soon, but it's come in handy! MOKiN's generator is small enough to fit on a bookshelf and light enough too. It's carry handle comes out a little awkward at times but not so much to be a problem. The readout is a simple screen, visible in darkness, saying how much it has left to charge or what kind of watt-hours it has left. Crucially (for me) it's not terribly complicated to use! this made a difference because it had came in the same day as storms did! I hadn't had time to read the manual and it was dark too, but my unit arrived with about a 40% charge. Besides that, it charges at a decent pace, and I LOVE how many ways you can charge it! USB? check. Solar? even beeettteerr. I have a panel that works within its watt limits so now I know if I go out traveling (or saaayyy... THE WORLD ENDS) at least I will have a lil bit of power! I'm happy with this unit. Hopefully, I won't need to use it very often. But as weather seems to be getting worse, the peace of mind is worthwhile for me. ... show more

  • Does This Power Anything?
The "power" station is at 99%, I decided to try it out on a small fan. Read the instructions, pressed the right buttons, fan is motionless. I'm not a tech guy, but I shouldn't have to be to operate a power station. Right now, this is an expensive paperweight.

  • Great solar battery/generator for it's power rating
This solar battery works great and seems to meet all its advertised specs. However, I do wish that I would have gotten a battery with a higher power rating. I realized that for heaters and power tools, these 300W batteries just can't cut it. That being said, I like that this battery shows input and output power, but the display is a little confusing. I also like that it has 3-prong AC plugs, but I don't like the fact that you can't use the AC power while you are also charging the battery. Instead, you can use the DC power while charging the battery, but you can't do AC. The included USB C wall charger is a really nice addition because it's relatively high power and I seem to always be in need of more USB C wall chargers. One design complaint I have is the dust/water covers are very flimsy and I see them being more of a nuisance than an aid. ... show more
