UPDATE: Came home last Friday to discover that the vendor had shipped out a replacement fountain. While I’m typically a person who doesn’t mind repairing things rather than letting items go to waste, the damage on the bottom of my previous fountain was clearly a result of a manufacturing defect and warranted replacement. I unboxed the product immediately and set it up, and have the added bonus of being able to continue to use the previous fountains pump and now have a spare on hand for the future. I appreciate the prompt response and the vendors willingness to make matters right. The new fountain has been plugged in for a week and is running smoothly with no early signs of defect. This fountain was great while it worked, it is lovely to look at and makes a nice sound and the added bonus of a light makes it extra special— However, a couple of days ago I got it out for the year, cleaned it up and went to fill up, and water went everywhere. Flipped it over and the entire fiberglass bottom had corroded. Contacted the helpline on the product page and was instructed by the vendor to provide pictures and copies of my receipts. Fast-forward to this morning, I opened my email and to discover that their solution for the issue was to apologise, say that this seldom happens, and tell me they will get back to me with suggestions on how to repair it myself, and asked me to be patient in the interim. At this point The only thing they have going for them is quick response time to emails. I responded and told them that me paying additional money to purchase materials to fix the fountain myself wasn’t my preferred option considering that the fountain hadn’t eked out even a full year of use before this happened. I bought this as a gift for my mom to replace a different fountain from another brand that splashed too much. I just got it set up and it looks and sounds lovely. No splashing🙌🏼 It’s lightweight resin, not ceramic. It is the quality I expected from the description. Super easy to set up. The only thing I had trouble finding was how much water it holds. My husband found it and it holds a little less than 2 gallons. **I used distilled water as instructed.** The lights do not not have an on/off switch, but if you’re not a fan all you have to do is disconnect them. The water flow is adjustable. It’s a very nice addition to my moms screened in porch. Hoping it will last longer out of the elements. ... show more

I ordered this for my floral shop to place indoors near my plant selection. It is very lightweight and has a calming water trickle sound. We assembled it and it ran fine. But on the 3rd day (I turn it off before I leave the shop and turn on when I return to the shop the next day) all of a sudden I heard water running loudly. I looked over and the water was just leaking out everywhere. It went down my display table, got underneath all of the plexiglass coverings and made a huge pool of water on the floor. I went through 2 rolls of shop towels to clean it up. We have no idea why this happened. It was running as normal and then out of the blue, I had a huge mess. I really hope this doesn't happen again because this was quite a mess of water to clean up. It wasn't moved or bumped and I didn't have any customers in my shop at that time (thank goodness!) I hope that was a fluke. Other than that, the fountain is pretty nice. It's very lightweight so I can't imagine using this outdoors if you live in windy conditions. ... show more

I've had one before for many years. It works great still but paint started to wear. The birds love it. It looks great in my garden. It runs most months of the year, sun up past sun down. I loved this pretty fountain the first summer I bought it but found that I wouldn't be able to use it the next summer. For some reason it would not hold water for long after one season of use. There was no hole, no crack, it just seeped out through fiber of the fountain. I wanted to fix the fountain, but you have to be careful what you use around birds, so I never was confident about a DIY fix. Really too bad and not worth the price. ... show more

I bought this as a replacement fountain I had that was like this except it was red. The blue is stunning! I love how simple the set up was. The fountain is light but heavy with the water which makes it a great option. No fear of being tipped over. The fountain did not have any leaks or other concerns. We filled with water and then we took care we had water going down the spout when we turned on the electricity and it started up perfectly. The sound is relaxing. The lights dancing in the evening sets our garden apart from our neighbors. This is a good quality fountain for a great price. If I remember i will get a pic of it at night and add. This fountains a replacement for one I had from Walmart several yrs ago. It looks just the same. But that's where the similarities stop. This one is made so much cheaper. Very thin ceramic plaster material,almost see through in places. There was a bump on surface that just popped off taking paint color with it. I will need to touch it up if I keep it. The quality of this fountain is very poor. Nice color, comes with small easy to assemble pump. The top piece of plastic that has small lights, just popped right out. Had to push it in.
