I needed to top off my antifreeze. Moved to San Francisco Ca about 6 years ago. Haven’t serviced my coolant since I’ve arrived. Don’t drive much but still need to check it. Put on about 2,000 miles in 6 years. 2003 LT silverado has been super reliable since I bought it new in Sept 2002. Just over 120,000 miles now. Engine light came on steady and I thought I had a new head gasket blown. Put in half gallon of 50/50 and light went out. Level is back up to where it is supposed to be. Next month I’ll take it in for a 120,000 mile service specifically for the cooling system, just to make sure.
