    • A great product
I already had one Peak Design Slide strap, so was aware of its best feature. This feature isn't the strap itself, but the way it connects to the camera. The included anchors attach to the camera, and the strap connects to the anchors. This design makes it easy to remove the strap (to put it onto a tripod) or to secure it to a long lens to relieve stress on the camera mount. One advantage of this strap vs some of the competition is that it doesn't need to connect to the base of the camera. The strap itself is a sturdy seat belt fabric with adjustable buckles and non-slip material on one side near the shoulder area. The only things I dislike about this strap are its bulkiness (making it more difficult to stow the camera in a case) and that the buckles can potentially scratch the camera when bunched with the strap in a case. Comes with a nifty little pouch and two extra anchor connectors. Replaced my stock camera strap in a few minutes. For those wondering how the anchor connectors work with the strap, you have to push in on them to get them to pop out. Otherwise it'll hold, you won't accidentally bump them out and watch your camera fall in slow motion to the rocks below. Much better than trying to undo a more conventional strap that goes through those plastic strap adjusters. ... show more

I watched a BUNCH of YouTube videos by various Photographers talking about what Camera Carry Straps the preferred. There was a variety of opinions, however after watching several I decided on the Peak. I just got through shooting 4 entire days of photos, having to walk a great distance all day each day and I was entirely pleased with my purchase. Very strong and holds up well. I like the fact that you can change from camera to lens with the mounting tabs and only need one strap.
