Well, I’ll sit there and tell you that this bag is pretty good. It’s very strong and sturdy and I feel safe packing it to the brim and the zipper is damn strong. I got tired of bringing my book bag and duffel bag to the gym and back since I didn’t need that much stuff and both of them are cumbersome so I figured this tote would be perfect for going over a friends house for the night, going to the gym or even bringing it to work. It’s actually pretty perfect for all of those. It holds all of my belongings and it’s nice and strong and I don’t feel like I have to worry about it ripping. I also really like how it folds up into a perfect tiny little pouch. It has to be the best part because folding it up and throwing it in there and locking it in place takes less than five seconds. This, to me, is perfect when traveling. If I’m going somewhere and I want to bring a couple of extra tote bags with me these, once folded up it takes no space up and I can latch it onto a book bag since it has a little hook once it’s wrapped up. That has to be the best part about this bag and that’s why I’ll be keeping it and using it. My only issue is that the strap is pretty short and when I put it on my shoulder it looks like I’m wearing a purse. Obviously, I’m a guy in looks weird but whatever. I can also carry it by the handle which is also totally fine. All in all I recommend this bag. For the price you’re getting quality and peak design stand by their product. Peak Design has hit a home run with this packable tote bag. Very minimalist. Very lightweight. Yet holds a lot of stuff. I am very pleased with this purchase. The only thing I would change is a bit longer shoulder strap though I appreciate the thoughtfulness of making it a single shoulder strap (as opposed to cross body) that is designed to not slip off the shoulder. The zipper across the top was a necessary feature for me and this tote bag fills the bill on that front also. No regrets as it seems a very reasonable price for such a sturdy and lightweight product.

This is a review of the Peak Design Packable Tote With Zipper. Overall, I rate it a 4.8 out of 5.0 stars. I appreciate this tote so much that 5 were purchased in total. Likes: 1. Packs tiny and compact. Definitely on the smaller side, though there are some that pack smaller, though those ten to be more fragile in my experience. 2. The materials and build appear to be of quality. No complaints for me whatsoever in this regard. 3. The tote is not too big when expanded. It is more like the size of a pretty big handbag, but not too big like a gym bag. 4. It has a full zipper to protect your items from falling out. 5. It has a comfortable single strap, which I prefer. There have been many times when I have been walking with other reuseable grocery bags with two straps and one or both sides slips off, and you have to regroup, or even have to pick up stuff that fell out of the bag due to no zipper. This strap seems to stay in put better than most. 6. Lifetime warranty. Considerations: 1. Some have complained about the strap being short. Yes it is, and this can be a problem if you have bigger/thicker arms as it is a tight fit. Also, if you have a bulky item such as a box to put in, the strap can be a limiting factor (hard to explain this without a picture). However, it has only affected me once when I was trying to stuff a boxed item that was testing the bag’s limits. 2. The fabric is fairly thin, definitely not some 1680 ballistic nylon. Thus, items inside the bag can feel like edges of a hard container can poke you (say you had an USPS Small Box that was at an angle in the bag and that was pushing against your ribs). Most packable bags would have this issue as well, just something to note. Nothing else in this category that I could find is as packable, has a full zipper, has a single padded strap, has a lifetime warranty, and has such nice build quality. I would give it a perfect rating if the strap was just a little bit longer.

Really handy bag to keep in your car or take on trips. Lightweight, compact and easy to fold back up in its own pouch. I took it on a vacation, kept it in my day pack and used it constantly when we bought a few groceries or to pack a bag for the car. It was also a good beach bag. The strap is very comfortable but would be better if it were a bit longer, which is why it lost a star. I could carry it on my shoulder, but my husband could not because the strap was too short to fit over his shoulder. Wish they had a cross body bag length strap option.

We have another product by this company so I assumed it would be well engineered. It is! What sets this product apart from other packable shopping bags. 1. The material is durable and does not feel like when filled that it will stretch or break. 2. The single handle is one of my favorite parts. Even when filled the bag is comfortable on the shoulder and you don't have to worry about losing a strap. 3. The zipper secures everything--so many of these type of bags don't come with any closure. Helpful whether your are riding a bus or carrying your goods home with an auto. 4. Stores easily and the weight is negligible when added to my daily bag.

Greetings & Salutations - I purchased this as a stocking stuffer for a loved one and it's been a hit! They had no trouble getting it unpacked and it repacked just as easily. Update: The stitching has started to come apart around the inner pocket. A little disappointing at this price. Docked 2 stars for that reason. Love this packable tote. It's super convenient and is with me whenever I go out just in case I need a bag, or a second bag. Well constructed with considered details like comfortable hand grip and quality zipper. Another Peak Design essential.

I love the quality of the bag, durable, water resistant, can fold into small size. Also very easy to put on shoulder, much better than the flat ones. It can be so easily hooked on any of the bag as the on the go shopping bag, exactly what I was looking for.
