How unique! Who knew a screen protector could provide privacy? I’m a principal & in a lot of meetings & this is so nice to comfortably write or read text messages without others’ eyes wondering checking out what is on my screen. If you are sharing pics or info., you truly have to turn your phone directly to that person. Super simple to install. I don’t like the blue “bumper” that it came with to encase the edge of the phone, but I purchased this item for the screen protector, only, so that doesn’t bother me. I’m sure it would be fine to use. I just kept my preferred protective case. I also dropped my phone within an hour of installation.—& it didn’t just bounce, it landed blunt force, face down on a hard floor. I anticipated perhaps a crack, but not even a scratch! It is thick & durable & comparable (if not better!) to what I would purchase at an iPhone store, with the bonus of this magical privacy screen! Love it! (The ONLY downside is I was having trouble reading my screen with sunglasses on, however, I realized that my brightness was turned down to 50%! So, make sure you adjust accordingly!) I love this… it really is unlike any screen proctor I’ve ever had. I also decided to look at Amazon for screen protectors, because all of the ones I ordered from iPhone seemed to crack easily - protected my phone, but so irritating waiting weeks with a cracked screen until a replacement arrived. I've bought this same purple privacy PDDKISS screen protector now. It's a nice purple color and I do like that. However, the glass formula used is very very brittle and actually will crack on its own without impact. I've bought this same screen protector three times now and the fourth is on the way. After all three cracked without impacts, I returned the fourth for being defective and a replacement is on the way. I'll continue to replace these if they continue to crack without impact like this, using defective as the reason for return until either PDDKISS fixes the formula or Amazon blocks my ability to return them for being defective. Others are saying the same thing now and it's obvious these are cracking with little to no impact to the glass. I just purchased this last one on 24 June. It's now 5 July. I installed it the day it arrived. I was on a work trip for the last three days. It lasted two of the three days of the trip. This one cracked from my just throwing my iPhone to a sheep skin covered seat (furry fluffy white sheep skin cover on the seat) and there was no metal on the seat anywhere and not other hard objects on the seat... my phone landed screen up and it was thrown from one foot away and six inches above the seat. It landed on a soft padded surface screen up and I saw a line show up on the screen protector... I stood up out of my seat and bent over and saw three lines across the screen protector. It cracked just from the impact of landing from 1 foot away and six inches up, screen side up. They crack this easily. They are defective and PDDKISS did not test them thorougly prior to release. ... show more

It provided protection to my phone’s original screen; however, the protector did not survive a soft fall from my nightstand until a soft rug in a facedown position. I always use screen protectors on my mobile phone and typically that light impact would not typically create spider-like breakage. I started buying this product when I had the purple iPhone 14 Pro Max, I now have the iPhone 16 pro max and I’ve bought it 3 times just for the 16. I keep buying it because I’m obsessed with how it looks purple but it ends up cracking either the first or second day it’s on my phone. I don’t drop my phone very often but even if it bangs up against something, it cracks. At first I thought it was my fault for putting them on wrong or dropping my phone but after buying so many I know it’s the product. I’m really sad because I really like the look but I don’t like having a cracked phone. It’s also very hard to use in the sun. The screen is almost impossible to look at even if you’re looking at it from head on. The privacy part of this product is made very well. I travel a lot and I must have a privacy screen for when I’m on planes. I’ve had several people compliment how they aren’t able to see what’s on my phone and I have recommended this product just for that feature to multiple people. Overall, I don’t think I will be buying this product again. Especially with summer right around the corner. Still on the hunt for the perfect privacy screen protector for me. ... show more
