I was impressed with this back brace. My size was not available at the time of ordering so I requested the next larger size . The velcro attachment did allow me to get a somewhat snug fit to hold it in place, while the elastic band also has a velcro attachment to fine tune the amount of compression and I was able to get a good amount of support, so there is quite a range of adjustability so I was happy about that, since I do tend to gain and lose weight throughout the year. The construction is high quality, with no loose threads or ripping seams, and the material looks like it was selected to last a long time and seems durable. The straps are removable which is also a benefit. I think they would mainly hold the brace in place without it sliding up or down, but I do not have a problem with that. As for how effective it is, time will tell. I don't use it to exercise, but I do have mid-back issues quite often as I also have arthritis and I hope this will give me some relief and be mobile for longer periods. Thank you.

This product gives very good support to the lower back when doing lifting or for me, when ever I am doing work around the house. It has wide straps that go over the shoulder to help distribute the weight to avoid fatigue in the shoulders. The back support is easy to adjust so that the user can make sure they are getting the support needed. The velcro is very good secure, keeping the back support tight. I have back problems when I do a lot of work and by back gets fatigued without my realizing it. Once my back is fatigued, any small movement can spell disaster for me. This belt helps prevent my back from getting fatigued in the first place. The product is made of quality materials and the manufacture of the product is good. I like this product.

I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of this back brace. Although my size wasn't available at the time of purchase, I opted for the next larger size. The velcro attachment allowed me to achieve a reasonably snug fit to keep it securely in place. Additionally, the elastic band, equipped with a velcro attachment, enabled me to fine-tune the level of compression, providing me with optimal support. This adjustability is particularly beneficial as my weight tends to fluctuate throughout the year. The construction of the brace is of high quality, showing no loose threads or seams at risk of tearing. The material appears to be durable and designed for long-lasting use. I appreciate the removable straps, which mainly serve to prevent the brace from sliding up or down, although I haven't encountered this issue personally. As for its effectiveness, only time will tell. While I don't use it for exercise, I frequently experience mid-back issues due to arthritis, and I hope that this brace will provide some relief and allow me to be more mobile for longer durations.

Great and adds the needed support. I wear it when I am setting in front of the computer, and it has been nothing but great support to my lower back. It fits well, All the straps are nice and snug. I like the color, I am a fat dude, and it went around my tummy no issues at all. Overall I highly recommend it.

This is a pretty nice back brace but I ordered the wrong size. Another back brace I have in my normal size was a bit snug so I ordered this one a size larger and unfortunately cannot really use. It arrived in a plastic zip bag in a brown shipping box without instruction included; it’s a shame because this brace appears to be somewhat adjustable so I might be able to wear it. There is plenty of adjustability in the should straps (but that will not help with the waist size). If the Velcro to secure the waist belt were larger (located to left of size tag in attached photo), this item would have a much larger range of waist size useability. The back brace I received has 4 flat rods (vs. 5 per the listing photo) sewn in to the back of this back brace to provide a bit of extra support. It does appear to be well made and should be a good choice for someone with a 44 to 52-inch waist. The one label on this back brace simply shows the size (no care instructions). The bag it came in indicates this item is made in China. The quality appears to be good for 44 to 52-inch waist users and this could be a 5-star back brace if instructions were included and the use of a longer piece of Velcro as described above.

This is in my opinion a very well made back brace that is very supportive and comfortable. This is a heavy duty brace that works and is an exceptional value.

For me this was just ok. and it does run small. So if you're picking one up, please be sure to get a size or two larger than what you normally wear. The velcro and locking mechanisms are good. The material used is OK for this type of a support belt. The cut and overall design is OK as well. I have come across better ones with a little more functionality and flexibility but this one is good too. Suggested areas of improvement put a shoulder support or belt support patch or square on the top of the two belts that go across your trapezius and shoulders. The straps/belts tend to crunch up and then it hurts. by putting a little support patch on top of each strap it will distribute the weight better and also prevent the belts from crunching up. Price point on this is high for what you get (in my opinion). This is a $30 product at best.
