Well, when I CAREFULLY cut open the plastic bag and got the mattress out, it expanded into a full-sized mattress. When it was finished "growing", I put it on the bed that it was to be used on and let it sit for a while. Then I went and laid down on it and slept on it that night. Honestly, it is a VERY comfortable mattress to sleep on!!! Time will tell how long it will last, but for now I say that for the money, this is a VERY good product!!!
