I think these are awesome for ten bucks. First of all, these are PERFECT if you enjoy reading in bed lying on your side. This way, I can fall asleep while reading and not worry about crushing my progressive/transitional eyeglasses that cost about $600. The look is good. Nice clean solid build. My only issue is the nose grip is smooth and slips over prolonged use. Good pocket set for taking out to the restaurant or shopping and such. Positive and snug operation in and out of the case.

The readers are great for intended purpose and I realized a surprise benefit that I can look over the glasses to see a distance with a slight tilt of my head. Much more comfortable than glasses with temples and that will make reading in bed a pleasure again. Such is life as an old timer. Cheers

Cool style, nicely made, EXCEPT nose pads are slick silicon that slides right off my nose. Good spring steel and tough plastic for other parts. Close to awesome and yet unusable. Had to toss them. Also a bit too small for most people as a guess. I had to look really cross-eyed through them. If the spring steel in the center was adjustable in length or just a bit wider and the nose pads were not slick so they stay on your nose, I would say these are fantastic. So I've been trying several of this type of pinch to bridge reading glasses lately. I felt this style was a little wide re lenses and frame than needed (which made them heavier than needed) and the nose pad is quite thin and textured and didn't feel very secure when pinched over my nose bridge - like they could fall off. The texture on the nose leaves marks in your skin if you wear a short while, but I didn't notice that until after the 30 day return window. Also, the seller doesn't show the back panel of the case for any of the colors of this style. The entire back panel, which is screwed to the front side, is a rather sharply edged thin metal plate that is prone to scratching and dents. It needs to have its all of edges and corners sanded down with a fine grit emery board or else it might possibly catch on or cut into the lining of your pockets. But I spent the time to smooth those edges. You'll want to sand/polish the edges on all sides of the metal plate to remove the sharp flashing edges if you are going to carry this in finer clothing. Seems the back plate should be made of plastic with more well rounded edges and corners - like the front side ... show more
