Great value for the price! I am a service engineer so I take stuff apart and put it back together, thats my job experience. I have one huge negative and a quality complaint on the slide bolt assembly. If your not mechanically inclined or don't have a friend who is. You will be frustrated in putting this together. There are no written instructions in English on how to put this together! It's all pictures! One, make sure to have another person assisting you, Two, make sure to put this together on a FLAT surface! It must be square so that the holes that are in the pieces line up and go thru straight! If not, the roof pieces will not line up with the frame without someone pushing the frame into place. 4, put your screw gun on the lowest torque setting so not to strip the wood! 5, go to your local hardware store or big box and buy a decent slide bolt assembly. The one that is provided is poorly made and you have to fiddle with it to slide correctly. 6, Your cats will thank you for the effort!

I wanted a cat enclosure that I could put up against the outside of my cat door from the garage so my cat could get some fresh air if she wanted. I think this catio is a little bit small for the money. I’m 65 years old (female)and was able to assemble it by myself and I was glad I had an electric screwdriver. Two of my boards didn’t have pre-drilled holes one had a big scuff but other than that all the pieces were there and the hardware was there. I made a couple modifications as I didn’t need the screen door because I left that middle panel out so I could set it up against my garage. Overall it was fairly flimsy. we have raccoons and possums in our yard that love to get into everything so I added stabilizer boards to each section. I thought the roof was especially sturdy and hopefully raccoon proof. If my cat wasn’t 15 years old I’d probably invest in a cyclone fence dog enclosure. But I did need the roof to make it completely critter proof. Overall I’m not terribly disappointed but the cat doesn’t seem super excited about it…

Easy to assemble, instructions are clear, and very spacious! Definitely worth every penny. I only installed the 2 upper platforms, seeing as the lower platform was in the way of the kitty beds. I do suggest having a drill on hand and having 2 people assemble would make the process that much easier. I did use a screwdriver and assembled by myself, but it did result in 3 whiskeys and a slew of cuss words. But the job got done!

Now, with 5 months of usage, my review has changed dramatically. The soft wood from which the unit is made does not stand up against California weather nor Illinois weather. The stability at first was acceptable. At 5 months old, it is wobbly and requires structural members added to prevent end wall (where all the animal shelves are located) collapse. I ended up having to paint it with 2 coats of an exterior latex to seal the wood. For the quality of materials, this should have been a $100 enclosure, not a $400 enclosure. Don’t buy this enclosure if you truly love your cats.

These are a good value when compared to all other popular ones. I know from much experience that any pop brands only lasts 3-5 years out in the weather. They're all made from very soft wood, not weatherproofed. But these were on great shape and went together well. I attacked 2 of them and added some shelves of my own.

Needed a 'catio' to provide a safe space for my daughter's blind-from-birth cat. This one came quickly, went together easy and is a good size to give him room to move around. It provides a nice, safe space when she is not home to keep him from getting lost and distressed in the house.

This product was pretty easy to assemble which is why I bought it. The wire is strong enough for raccoons to climb, and cats can't scratch threw. The hard roof is nice. Make sure you have two people move it, frame will crack/split easily as I learned when trying to move alone. Looks nice.
