This product was a replacement for an older LED strip I had installed above and below my kitchen cabinets. The old one I had was not COB and you could kinda see the individual LEDs on the wall above and below my cabinets. This one, however, is great. It’s just a solid, clean light that shines great. The controller works flawlessly. I installed the power plug in the cabinet above the microwave (same outlet the microwave is plugged into) and have the RF receiver sitting on top of the cabinets. I had to extend the power wire so I could get the strip to start at one end of my cabinets, but that was a very simple step of splicing in more wire. This also allowed me to have all the wiring and components for this LED strip to be hidden out of sight. The lights get very bright and I like the fact that you can dim them and change the color temperature. So far, the adhesion has been great. It is 3M tape and hasn’t fallen off like my old one did. One thing I noticed that was a little disappointing at first though, was that this is not a solid strand of LEDs. The strand I received had a lot of places where multiple strips we’re soldered together. This worried me at first, but the solder job they did was great and it had zero effect on the lights. No dark spots or issues with the operation. All in all, this was the perfect strip for my application. If you have a little bit of electrical know how and can solder, you can make this fit your needs well.

Wanted to use under an 8+ foot length of cabinets. I thought I’d need two parallel lengths of light. I installed first 8’ length and found that was more than enough light for the counter. Color and brightness are great. The light strip is more appealing than a length of individual LED lights.

Great price, all in one package. However Power Supply is cheap and makes a low volume high pitched ringing noise. Certain colors and color temps are louder than others. I'm currently 31 and can hear the noise pretty well - hoping I'll age out of the audible frequency before the strip dies on me. Not a dealbreaker for me but I could see this really getting under people's skin.

The media could not be loaded. This product was very easy to install, simply peel back paper to reveal adhesive, and stick wherever you want. The lights look great and can be very bright or dim when wanted. The remote works great and adjusts the temperature of the lights, as well as the brightness. I would recommend these to anyone!

I placed the LED strip within a 20" X 28" picture frame to backlight a stained glass window. It's nice to be able to vary the color temperature and the intensity. The LED string's adhesive is sticky. It adhered well. The intensity (dimmability) is very good. (It has to work through a piece of light dispersing acrylic ... and it works well.) The COB also disperses light quite well. I'd buy it again. (ASIDE: The remote control has lots of buttons. It could be a little less feature-rich. But, that's just one person's opinion.)

Without question, the worst product I have ever had the displeasure of owning. After the absolute nightmare of installation -- due mostly to the connectors (a separate purchase?!) being obviously too short, too few included, not being electrically secure, and clearly designed by someone falling between hopelessly incompetent and mentally handicapped -- you learn just how many 1-inch sections are defective. See the included photo for the 3 types of failure: a section with no warm white, a section with no cool white, and a section of both being dead. And I won't even bother to mention that the designer was oblivious to the norm being the need to power the tape in 2 different directions from the power outlet above the microwave. (The tape has *one* included electrical connection, attached at one end. Think of how clearly deficient that is.) At minimum, the person who approved this product for production and distribution needs to be publicly executed, which is not a stretch in China. If it would not incur even more wasted time, effort, and money, I would tear the whole thing out and install it in the local landfill,… which would lower the quality of our dump! On the scale of 1 to 5 stars, I give this LED tape and (especially) the included and associated connectors negative 11 stars. Avoid as though your life and sanity depends upon it.

Let me start by saying I've tried several different types of these LED light strips. My criteria was one that had adjustable Kelvin settings and a remote. Of the several I tried this one is the best. That said quality control is an issue. I bough 5 of these. One of those five didn't light up 2/3 of the strip because of a poor solder point. I got a replacement from Amazon for that one and the replacement won't light up at all. So of the 6 I've tried 2 were duds; not great stats. Also the remotes only control that particular strip it comes with. So if like me you have 5 strips you need all five remotes to control them separately. I contacted the manufacture and they claim there is a way to sink them for one remote to control them all but it doesn't seem to work. I've tried what they recommended a couple of dozen times to no avail. I'm using them to light IKEA curio cabinets so I want them all on/off at the same time with the same brightness/Kelvin settings. I've had to set the brightness/Kelvin manually on each and then hook them up to a power strip that I plug and unplug when I want them on; so much for controlling on/off with a remote. I'm not really thrilled with these but like I said, I haven't found anything better. Considering how much more expensive they are than other options I don't think the quality justifies the price.
