I don't like thick creams in general, and at first I hesitated to buy this cream because of it. But I think this eye cream has the necessary anti-aging ingredients. A line that has been developing near my eyelid is much more diminished after applying this cream. The thickness of the cream wasn't bothersome after that because I knew it was working. I used to spend a lot of money on high-end department store cosmetics, and I can say with confidence Paula's Choice is the way to go. Save your money. Paula's Choice works on being transparent about their ingredients which is a lot more honest that 99% of the brands out there. Some high-end brands claim such and such exotic ingredient will save your skin and then charge tons of money for it. But it may not even give you the results you need. Paula's Choice products specifically advertise which ingredient you need to target a specific issue, and they usually live up to the hype. While it costs more than drugstore cosmetics, Paula's Choice is in the business of educating the public about skincare issues which is much more service than other brands are doing.

I was hesitant to purchase because of the other reviews, but I'm so glad I did. I have very sensitive skin/eczema, especially around my eyes. Eyelid eczema is no joke, it's painful and miserable, and a lot of anti-aging products make it worse, especially eye creams because sooo many of them have fragrance. Not this one! No irritation, at all, and my eyelid eczema has completely cleared up. I will never be without this now. I can see how people with oily skin wouldn't like this product since it is a very thick cream. Despite being so thick it has always absorbed very quickly for me. For dry and sensitive skin, I say go for it. I purchased the sample size to see how I liked it before purchasing the full size. The sample size will actually last quite a while, (at least a month, maybe two) a little goes a long ways.

As other's have mentioned, this is a thick cream. That being said, I have no problem patting it under my eyes as directed and it absorbing. I have hereditary dark circles and have not noticed a difference in them, but there is really no product that will make those disappear. My under eye area is smother appearing and my crows feet appear softer now due to being moisturized. I only use this at night as I have found it to be too emollient for use during the day and it does not play well under makeup resulting in concealer sliding off.

I liked it, the retinol was not painful or irritating, and it was nice and emollient. Thought I smelled a little peppermint in there, or something herbal and nice. You have to put some in your hand and mash it up first, blend it to warm it up a bit. The texture is a bit thick out of the tube until you do this, and separates a bit, sort of like Creme de La Mer. Leaves a bit of an oil residue.

Very thick but easy to apply by warming up between fingers and tapping instead of rubbing. Great for dry skin around the eye. Based on other reviews, I use with Boost oil which is also great. Better results than many other products including much more expensive eye treatments from Estee Lauder. If you live in a dry environment, give it a try. I'm more than two months into the first tube and there is still plenty. Update: I've had two other tubes, the formula seems creamier. Also a hint : cut open the tube when it's done and you'll find more cream.

Did nothing for me. Idk why she's selling eye cream when she herself stated that eye cream is irrelevant. Didn't realize this until after I'd bought the product. Honestly thought it made my eyes a little worse. I just use a completely natural oil, one ingredient product from Limelife by alcone called One drop wonder. Research it. Truly moisturizes my eyes like crazy. It burns if it gets in the eyes though so be warned. Says not to use it around eyes on the box) but I do it anyway because it's the only thing I've found to make a difference.

Great product. A trial tube like this may last you 2 months or longer because the cream has a thick consistency. This is the second trial size I've bought this year. I'm a big fan of this cream. I think it's helped my dark circles and wrinkles somewhat and I like to use it more than other eye products I have. Feel free to buy a larger size. It will probably last you a very long time. The first tube lasted me about 3 months but I didn't use a lot of it at a time.I felt a small amount was more effective than a large amount at one time since the cream was very thick, which was fine with me.

It is way too thick, even when I warm the product in between my fingers I am finding that I have to really pat it into my skin. Even then, does not soak into my skin. I feel like I'm literally putting a hardened shea butter bar on my delicate eye area. Per their Beautypedia review of their own product: "It’s a seriously emollient, balm-like cream that blends without dragging or pulling", and I find this very far from the truth. I see myself returning this very soon. The reason I buy their products on Amazon versus their own website is because at the very least I can return with packaging paid by Amazon most of the time. Time will tell if this product will do the trick.
