Title says it all. Used about a quarter sized amount. Ran thru damp hair. Left it in overnight. My hair went from thick straw to manageable softer hair (1 application). After 4 applications my hair feels smooth and soft. It works. My only negative is the smell is weird. For me it smells like an artificial chemical interpretation of a fruity aloe vera (like cheap artificial candy). I need a great leave-in moisturizing conditioner. I have short hair and don't always use gel. This product is so smooth and natural I can actually pre-shave with it. Yep. Hot shower; dry off; apply Paul Mitchell Conditioner to hair AND FACE; splash face with hot water; pre-shave sideburns, mouth area. I then apply my Barbasol and do the shave. I bought the conditioner because Paul Mitchell brand has a good reputation. Its ok and does the job to condition the hair but it in my opinion has the same secent as Albert V-05 conditioner which I do not like. Since I do not have thick and long hair I could not comment on whether it is affective on longer and thicker hair. ... show more

This product is easy to use. Just comb through a little after you towel dry your hair. The scent is okay but could be nicer. However, it's a good product, especially for long thick hair that is hard to comb after washing. It makes the comb just glide through.

I used to be a cosmatologist in the 90's and i would only use Paul Mitchell products back then. I don't know why i ever switched. PM products are tried and true. Never to dissappoint.
