They all made my hair either very dry or coated with a filmy feeling residue. The Paul Mitchell line, however, has saved me from almost giving up on cruelty free hair care products! This shampoo and conditioner is as good as any other salon product I've used. My hair isn't dry, nor it it greasy at the roots. In fact, I've been washing my hair less, and therefore shedding less, and experiencing less breakage. The smell was good but it dried out my hair and it's supposed to be hydrating. Also, came with one of the pumps broken.
