Great product! I have baby fine hair, this shampoo leaves my hair clean without weighing it down. It is fragrance free and gentle on my scalp. It is very concentrated. I put a pea-sized drop in my palm, mix a little water, rub hands together and put on my hair - it lathers up nicely.

No fragrance as it says, but there's a lot of water and it takes quite a bit of product to get it to suds up. Does a nice job but I might not want to pay the full size price because it won't last long.

Trying the clear essentials shampoo and conditioner for the first time. I suffer from allergies to many products, skin rashes, red itchy eyes, and fragrance induced migraines. I was using loreal simply clean, but it was discontinued. I tried cluere but it was too drying. My hair is fine, dry, color treated, and wavy. The shampoo lathered well, and the conditioner seemed ok. My hair was clean, shiny, very manageable, no frizz, and looks good. No allerfic reactions so far. I will have to use for a week or 2 to make sure it moisturizes enough and no reactions develop. I will edit the review then. Day 3 itchy scalp, ears, and eyed. Downgrading to 3 stars. ... show more

I do have to start with the fact that Paul Mitchell is one of the OG brands for nice hair care from back in the day, but I haven't used it in years. I had patch testing done for allergic contact dermatitis and found out that I can use very few shampoos (or any beauty products). Didn't know how high maintenance I was until I wasn't allowed to use just about anything. Using this, my hair is clean, but not fragranced, and I really do miss that. BUT.... I don't itch and don't have rashes on my face any more. Also, shockingly, my hair feels just as nice as when I use Pureology. My hair is mousy brown naturally, so it's always got lots of blonde highlights. The texture is wavy/frizzy. So, I have to use high quality products or it looks awful. Using this shampoo and conditioner and the styling product from the same line, my hair is actually really manageable, has great body, and curls really nicely with my air wrap. It did great with the curling iron also. As much as I hate giving up my nice fragrances in my previous bougie hair care routine, I actually am a lot happier when I use this and my hair looks pretty darn good, too. ... show more
