Should Work Great For My Purpose

I was looking for a solution to keep a couple of my RV sewer hose components separate from everything else for obvious reasons. I decided to give this potential solution a try: Mount an ammo can to the rear bumper of the RV using a couple "4 Inch U-Bolts" with a little bit of padding tape between the metals. I actually think this will work pretty well for my purpose. The size is perfect to hold some of the connections. The aluminum is an excellent balance of a heavy-duty feel while remaining fairly lightweight. And the black finish looks pretty good, helping the whole thing blend in pretty well. The lid fits very snugly in place with the latch and I am not worried about rain getting in from the top. After getting it on, I decided to drill a few small holes in the bottom for drainage of (hopefully minimal)... undesirable liquids. Anyway, I think this is actually a good ammo can (and I do have a good amount of experience with those for their intended purpose LOL). Let me know if any questions. 5/5 Stars

Perfect ammo can. It is solid and has weather seals inside to keep things dry. The lid works as intended and overall construction of the can is solid to protect all the products inside of it. It fit perfectly where I needed it. The cost was also perfect since it was being used as a tool box for a tractor.

Solid product, but inner seal was made incorrectly and too long on one side so it doesn't fit properly. Still works fine, just don't count on it being able to fully keep liquids out or in if you need that

Functional & Strong storage solution

I bought this to hold some scrap metal and to do that I wanted to get an ammo can that would meet the requirements of being metal, can hold a significant amount of weight, and isn't an ugly storage box. This met all of those with ease. I purchased two of the Patron 50 Cal Ammo Can and saw great results with them. Looking through other reviews, I saw that there were a lot of complaints about there being a big logo on the side of the can however both of mine came completely black with no logos or blemishes. The inside of the cans is spacious and because the handle can fold down its also really easy to stack the cans. I was worried at first about the strength of the handle but I was able to carry around ~66 lbs inside of the can and the handle didn't give me any reason to believe that it was close to giving out which is great. However, I did not try the locking mechanism so I don't know how well it works. Overall, if/when I need more storage, these will be my go to purchase. 5/5
