I had to replace an older metal shed for an exterior home improvement project. Turns out our HOA only allows wood or plastic sheds in the back yard. I selected this shed for the size, color, and assembly features. The shed came in 4 boxes, 1 was very heavy and the other 3 were moderately heavy. The heavy box held most of the metal components, metal fasteners, etc. Assembly wasn't hard and yes 2 people are advised as it makes putting the roof on and door installation much easier. I was able to assemble the floor and get the walls up by myself but the roof joists needed 2 people for sure. Assembly went fine and took 2 days to complete, there are a LOT of screws to put in and this is where the time is spent. I highly suggest a good 6ft step ladder and light (especially after the roof panels are installed). Build quality if the plastic is good from what I have seen. The panes are sturdy and don't bend (except the 4 corner pieces that are designed to bend). The floor went together really fast and easy and the panels can be kicked into place easy enough (or use a rubber mallet works well too). The window panel can be placed on either side. The window came assembled into the panel so that portion of the instructions weren't needed for me. The screws go in easy but don't really get tight but do hold well. I used a larger handled screwdriver as the one included isn't big enough for my hands to grip well. Instructions were easy enough to follow. Ample screws are provided and we had some left over. The roof supporting joists were the hardest part of the assembly and installation (other than the foundation) and required 2 people. I tighten down all the metal pieces after the had them in place as it was easier to do than when assembling. Door panel hinge instructions are the 1 area where an improvement could be made but we were able to assemble the doors, get them in place, adjusted, and included lock installed easily. Final shed is sturdy and secure. I used 1'x1' paving stones for a foundation and digging, leveling, and assembly of this took me a day. The shed doesn't move on the foundation as it is fairly heavy but there isn't anything securing it to that foundation. I think a pretty good impact could move it. Build quality when assembled is good, walls don't flex much, ridge vents hold in place well, window is secure, doors hold well and the metal door jamb, hinges, and end rods make them secure. I am not convinced the lock will hold a lot of prying and a metal plate on the other side of the door would be nice. Inside the shed the roominess is decent. I put in a 2'x3' 5 shelf shelving unit but left the top shelf off as it was too tall to be useful. I as able to fit 1 push mower, 1 medium sized gas grill, 1 small seed/fertilizer spreader, a few buckets of pool cleaners, garden tools, 4 patio chairs (folded) and 1 patio umbrella/stand inside easily with room for other items. I will be getting some metal shelving kits to install (the walls have metal slats those can be anchored to as I would not expect anything drilled into the walls to hold any weight at all). There is a version with a light and I think this would be helpful. I might get a solar lighting solution to use. It hasn't rained yet but the roof panels fit over the joists in a way any water from the roof will collect and run off without getting inside the shed. The shed looks great in the back yard and matches the house trim and back yard fence perfectly. For the money this is a perfect solution for us to store seasonal items and gardening/pool items in.

AWESOME, sturdy, great value

This is a game changer! I ordered this on Amazon instead of Patiowell because of the price. The floor and walls go together quickly, the other parts take time, but it's well built when finished. 7 boxes arrive separately, but Patiowell customer service was GREAT with communication and follow up until all boxes arrived. They didn't even flinch that it was an Amazon order. I worried about quality, but I'm very pleased with the resin panels and very sturdy metal framing. DEFINITELY use the video to help with setup, but refer back to the manual for small details. Putting in the doors is REALLY TRICKY without damaging them. Go slowly and double check what they're asking you to do. Note that some of the screws have different numbering than the video (ie, SI26 15 instead of SI26) but you can tell which parts are which by how many there are of each one. I would absolutely go through each box to make sure you have all the pieces, there are a lot! We weren't missing anything. This took myself and my husband (a wood worker & very handy guy) about 6 hours to complete. Our 12 year old even helped and loved "kicking" everything into place with a rubber mallet. He thought it was like Lego building. I love the size, I'm using it to hold a chair rack with 50 folding chairs, rolling coolers, portable tables and all the outdoor equipment we use for gatherings. I have a ton of items in there and still have room. I've been able to add a solar motion light in the shed that works great, would recommend for packing items away at night. I would highly recommend caulking the roof to the top of the wall panels and the floor to the bottom of the wall panels, and even caulk in between each wall panel on the outside. We used about 3 tubes of clear caulk to seal everything and you can't see any of it now that it's dry, but it's super sealed. This thing is now water tight and wonderful. We've had super high winds and it did well (full disclosure, it's 18" away from a 6ft wall on 2 sides, so that helps with wind. We added screens to the vents at the front and back of the shed. Very easy to cut a screen to size with an additional inch on each side and put it behind the vent before popping the vent into place. They still lock together perfectly. LOVE this shed, looking forward to having it for many years to come.

The resin shed isn't to bad. It is easy to assemble and can be done by 1 person and the instructions are easy to follow. I didn't have the issues of holes lining up like others have mentioned. It may not be the sturdiest of sheds but still serves it purpose. There are a few issues I have. The screw locations either need to be solid plastic so the screws lock in place or metal inserts used like they did for the arches. You will see what I mean when you get that far. The other issue is they don't provide lock washers for the roof frame so in time the bolts will come loose unless you use blue loctite. The floor could be a little thicker. I feel it is a little to thin and could puncture to easily like others have shown to have happen. The lock it comes with is a waste and should have just been a latch. The vents should have a screen mesh on it to help keep bugs out. Other than that it is a decent shed.

Good shed

It took me a couple of days to put this together. Note* make sure you have somebody to help you with the roof frame, if not you will be on the struggle bus. Anyways the shed is still holding strong, I built a wood base with pressure washed 4 X 4 and 4 X 2’s from Lowes to screw the shed base down to so it wouldn’t fly away during high winds, and keep rain water out of it. Once you add ll your stuff in it it will make it even more wind resistant. You will have to level it out or find level ground, when you do your base. Overall it is a good shed I do have to kick it sometimes to put a panel back in place by the door. I bought some sealant foam to spray in between the cracks to keep pest out, and some vent wire to put over the front/back vents to keep Wasp and hornets from building nest. Accessories are also easy to attach inside the shed, I have a couple of hangers that I use to store my weed eaters, and grass seeder. It will fit a big lawn mower, and a couple of boxes, good storage shed for a couple of items. The combination lock that comes with it is not that great, that will be getting replaced in the future.

Glad I got this shed

I really like this shed. I put it together mainly on my own and had help from my husband with the roof part since it was the heaviest with metal parts. It has been holding up very well. It’s experienced wind, snow/ice, and rain and still looks good. There’s a little But more than just kicking it in but have patience and follow the instructions and it’ll work. It came in 4 boxes total not all in the same day over the course of about 5-7 days. Seller was super responsive as well when I asked about the last box.

I very rarely write reviews this negative, but after my experience with this shed, I feel other buyers need to know what they are getting into. The assembly instructions are some of the worst I have ever encountered. The diagrams are small, confusing and frequently fail to clearly show the orientation of parts or how pieces are supposed to connect. Critical details that should have been explained in writing are left for the customer to decipher from vague drawings. There were multiple times during assembly when I had to stop and study the diagrams, compare individual parts and essentially reverse-engineer what the manufacturer was trying to communicate. For perspective, I am extremely mechanically inclined and have decades of hands-on experience with construction and electrical work. This shed took me more than 20 man-hours to assemble. I can only imagine how frustrating this would be for someone with limited construction or mechanical experience. Making matters worse was the horrible customer service. When a company sells a product at this price point with instructions this poor, they should at least provide knowledgeable and responsive technical support. Instead, getting useful help was another exercise in frustration. The shed may look decent once you finally get it assembled, but that doesn't excuse the experience required to get there. For what this shed costs, the engineering, documentation and customer support should be dramatically better. Overpriced, misleadingly marketed, unbelievably poor instructions and terrible customer support. I cannot recommend this shed. Buyers should know exactly what they're getting themselves into before spending this kind of money. One star—and that's generous.

Amazing shed great price

This shed is the perfect size for backyard storage and is very versatile—we’re using it for hot tub and pool supplies. It took two people about three hours to assemble after laying out all the pieces. Everything was included, and nothing arrived damaged also doesn't leak. Its appearance isn’t an eyesore at all—it actually looks great. Overall, I think it was an excellent price for such a high-quality shed. If I ever need another one, this will definitely be my first choice.

Seems flimsy, but when it’s done it’s pretty solid!

First, make sure you have an entire day of good weather and low wind to put together. My husband found a video that said it took about 4 hours, so we wanted to put it together before bed one night during extremely high winds. We spent most of the time holding it to prevent it from falling apart-it did twice. Once you start, you can’t really stop because of how flimsy the walls are. It wasn’t difficult, but we had to go back and forth between the video and the paper instructions to understand. A handful of screws didn’t really seem to grab onto the plastic, the wind ripped one of the corners and all of the screws came out with the plastic, but we moved on and address it when we need to. Once it was done it was pretty solid. We had tornadoes near us that night and we thought for sure it would be destroyed, but we woke up the next day and it was still standing! We put 6 80lb concrete bags inside to hold it because we hadn’t put anything in it yet. Ours had a dent in one wall, but you can’t really return it so whatever. Be gentle kicking it to prevent dents. So far we’re happy with it-we’re using it for pool storage and a bathroom/changing area so I think it’s got plenty of room, easy to clean. I’ll be happy to get a few years out of it, I don’t expect forever.
