My son and I built this shed in 2 and half hours (I'm a 71 year old woman). The instructions were easy to understand and easy to follow. We did not use the "kick" method indicated in the instructions. We used a rubber mallet. I really like the fact that it has metal reinforcement bars for the roof. I had another major brand shed at my last house and it snapped together and fell apart several times with strong wind. Just a note, we recently had a hurricane in Houston and it held together with no issues at all. I really like this shed, it is good looking and holds all of my garden and yard tools perfectly. One thing I did do was buy some screen material at a hardware store and put it over the air vents to keep wasp from going in and building nests. Thats a real problem here. The media could not be loaded. The Patiowell 8 x 6 FT Plastic Outdoor Storage Shed is an excellent choice for a straightforward backyard storage solution. We needed a place to store our lawn mower and a bike, and this shed fits the bill perfectly. Assembly was straightforward but definitely a two-person job. It took us about 6 hours to put it together. To save time and effort, I recommend using a drill with a Philips head bit—it makes the process much easier. At one point, we needed a mallet to knock in the poles for the door, but everything else was included in the kit. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, which was a big plus. Once assembled, the shed feels sturdy and looks great in the yard. The built-in floor, window, and lock are all convenient features. Received the Patiowell 8x6 today. It came in 4 large boxes. I was able to build the entire thing by myself. (It took me 6 hours to build) I would strongly recommend someone helping you in the later stages of the installation (roof truss). Great product! I would recommend you install it on a solid surface and install some type of wired mesh behind the air vents. The vents are large enough to let in wasp and small critters. After struggling thru directions that left a lot to be desired the shed is actually very nice. The two guys putting it together were knowledgeable handymen and they struggled to understand directions. Some directions seemed to be completely missing. Very difficult to put together. Very flimsy material and once something goes wrong while putting it together, everything is off track. Floors are not well made and cheaply made. Overall disappointed with this product. Lastly, it's not secure enough to keep anyone out. I'm afraid a bad storm is going to destroy it. A waste of hard earned money. ... show more

I purchased this shed a week before the Thanksgiving holiday so I could install it during the break. I am extremely pleased with both the product and the excellent customer service I received from the vendor. Assembling the shed turned into a fun family activity—my 7- and 9-year-old grandsons thoroughly enjoyed helping. The entire process took approximately 7 hours, and having an electric screwdriver and drill made the assembly much easier and enjoyable. Regarding the vendor’s service, I couldn’t be happier with their prompt responses. When I noticed a $70 discount during the Thanksgiving sale, I emailed the vendor to inquire if they would honor it. To my delight, they responded immediately and credited the amount. Additionally, a small bracket (B-1) was missing, which provides extra stability to the door. Upon my request, the vendor promptly FedExed the complete hardware set, including all screws and bolts. I truly appreciate their outstanding customer service! ... show more
