Kit is worth it. Everything fits good and very easy to put together. I built a base using pressurized protected wood on a gravel base. Then built the shed on it. It looks goofy but put a cargo strap over the shed and attached it to the base. There is a video but I felt it was easier to follow the instructions. Only thing I bought to build it was a 35 oz mallet to knock the pieces together instead of kicking them. Would highly recommend buying the mallet. Hope you enjoy the picture.

I purchased this shed July 2025 and here is my product review. Packaging: Comes in (4) very large and a couple of very heavy boxes nearly 6 feet long. Very well packaged, lots of foam to protect it during shipment. Note that mine did not all arrive at the same time, it took about a week for all packages to show up. Directions: The directions were very clear. but I have a couple of suggestions that I will touch on under the Assembly review to help make assembly a bit easier. Parts: No missing parts, and in some bags were extra items which is great as the fasteners, bolts, nuts are metric and may not as readily available to replace if they were lost. Assembly: NOTE that once you unpack the floor parts, lay them flat and out of the sun. My first set I laid flat on the concrete where it was to be assembled, and within 15 minutes they began to warp. After a couple of hours, they were severely warped (2"-3") which was making the wall assembly impossible as the walls wanted to lean inward from the warped floor. I contacted the seller and described the problem and they sent out a duplicate set of floor parts in 2 days. This time, I was ready and laid the floor out per instructions, then began to immediately start setting up the walls. This helped greatly, but the floor still warps about a 1/2" when finished, which makes the door assembly and final kind of glitchy. To close the doors, I need to kind of gently kick the bottom of one and gently bend the other door at the top to get them to close, but once closed, they look good. Most (98%) of all the screw holes line up, but please be careful if using your cordless drill to assemble. The metal screws are going into plastic and cannot take any torque at final tighten. I set me 20 volt cordless to torque setting 1.5, and it seemed to tighten them without stripping. NOTE: Roof assembly tip. The instructions show assembling the (3) portions of what we'll call the roof truss, and them assembling them together and attempting to maneuver it up onto the wall brace uprights. The 3-piece roof truss assembly is too flimsy to be lifted even with two people, so I disassembled the other two pieces, installed the center piece while my wife stabilized it, then I easily assembled the other two outer pieces per instructions by myself in minutes. One last note on the roof brace assembly, they have rubber coated washers that the end of the roof truss assembly pieces attached to. The only issue is the screw size they instruct you to use fits right thru the inside diameter of the washer. I improvised by placing a smaller washer in between the screw and the rubber washer and it worked great. Overall, the shed will work to keep lawn chairs, mowers, other items out of the elements (have not tested for leaks yet), and I do not believe I would buy this shed again for the money. If it was a little less expensive, then I might consider it.

I’m a full time resident in a 40 ft motor home and needed a small storage shed at my home base location to store camping equipment and other items that I don’t need while traveling. This shed worked perfectly for my needs. I bought it because it was advertised as an easily assembled unit with minimum fasteners. It was shipped to me in 4 boxes and was packed very well. I followed the instructions to the letter except for wearing the gloves that were provided. I do recommend wearing the gloves. Since I placed the unit on my RV pad, which is compacted stone, I did not construct a concrete pad. I spread pea gravel for the base and made sure it was level. I placed the 6 floor pieces down and tamped the entire floor. I placed additional pea gravel in the low areas. The walls, roof and doors were all assembled by just me. The instructions called for two people to assemble but I did it by myself. The roof truss assembly placement was the most difficult to do. Three sections make up the roof support truss. I disassembled one section and placed the remaining two bolted assembly on the wall and then added the third section. The roof panels fit like a glove and 98% of all the holes that required screws were a match. All the pieces that were supposed to be snapped together did so. Everything fit together perfectly. The installation instructions were very good and clear. I recommend a trial fit before using fasteners. The shed is strong and looks great. Even the doors fit perfectly and the locking hardware matched nicely. I’m very pleased and satisfied with the product.

The storage shed was delivered in seven boxes. I didn't see any directions in the boxes. I went to the Patiowell site and downloaded the directions. The direction manual was all pictures and item labels. It wasn't done well. Despite the lack of a manual, I built the shed in 5 hrs. It is surprisingly well made. The shed has gone thru wind gusts and torrential storms. I would recommend the Patiowell Outdoor Storage Shed...I give it 5 STARS!

Didn't come with instructions. Missing parts. You get what you pay for a flimsy resin shed but at least give me the instructions on a piece of paper. I had to go to a website on my phone where I could barely see and watch an ad every time I turn to the page on a PDF. Took six or seven hours to assemble. Even if you like assembling furniture you will absolutely hate this.

I almost never review purchases, but since this is expensive, and not really returnable here we go. It came later than expected, in 4 boxes, one extremely heavy. It took me and a friend of mine about 9 hours, start to finish, over 2 days. "Kicking it" is not cool, and there is one small spot that we never got quite right. The 4 vent pieces (2 in front and 2 in back) are very poorly designed. First, there is no screening, so bugs of all sorts can make a happy home in the shed. Second, they are poorly secured, on day 4 after we finished, I found one of the front pieces 3 feet away from the shed. Even though the instructions show that you are supposed to install the window, mine came with the window pre-installed. After the first rain, there was water on the floor and I suspect it came through the window (or the crappy vent), either way it's not cool and I will have to investigate further and remedy it somehow. BTW, who really needs a window in the shed, it is just one more way avenue for leaks. It looks nice, but bugs and rain do not make a shed worthwhile. This shed replaced a slightly smaller Rubbermaid that was 23 years old. That one was much less expensive and was waterproof for 22 of it's 23 years. If I could have gotten one the same size as this, with a pitched roof, I would have gone that route. It was a lot of work, and an expensive lesson.

Definitely better with 2 sets of hands. Took 2 of us about 6 course to get this put together. The finished product was very sturdy. Directions are pretty much in picture form except for a few parts here and there. Most of it was easy to understand but every once in a while I would be absolutely lost. All equipment was included. All pieces were in perfect condition. I feel like my money was well spent. Customer service was also amazing and super helpful and responsive.
