I was considering this one and the other similar one on amazon without a cushion, but I definitely recommend this one. The cushion is what makes it comfortable, and if I didn’t buy this one I would have to go buy a cushion. The chair is perfect! It’s not too small and it looks amazing. I love this swing! It is comfortable, easy to put up and down if I don’t want to leave it outside all the time. I’m glad I got the one with a cushion, it makes it just right. We got the hanging gear with it but didn’t use most of it. We used the chain(cut it in two) and the two snap fasteners. We had some heavy duty eye bolts, so we used those instead and bought two more snap fasteners. Installing this way was a snap. Plus if I install two more eyebolts on my porch, I can move my swing to other locations on my porch to catch the sun or shade. May even purchase another one!

Great chair for the price. My daughter loves having this in her room. If you have high ceilings you may need to get a longer chain. The cushion it came with is a bit plain, so we added some more pillows to it.

Our daughter loves this hanging chair. Since we installed it a week ago, she frequently sits in it while participating in her virtual classes. However, the primary purpose of my review here is to compliment Patio Watcher for their high level of customer service and responsiveness. When we received the Hammock Chair, it was missing the hardware required to hang it from the ceiling. I sent an email to Patio Watcher advising as such and received a prompt and apologetic response the next day. They advised that they would quickly send the hardware items (coming from China) and followed through on their commitment. We received the hardware items a week or two later and were able to complete the installation. I appreciated this level of service from Patio Watcher and the responsive and communicative support. I would purchase from this company again.

My daughter swang in this swing for hours and hours, every day for 3 years until it finally broke. I happily purchased another one and now it comes with a little cushion that fits perfectly on the seat which is way more comfortable than sitting on a stuffed animal or blanket! Very happy with this! My girls are 15,13, and 10. Not sure how it would hold up for adults:

I was so super excited to get this for my back patio, so imagine my disappointment when I realized the chain is too small for the carabiner clips and, therefore, it's impossible to mount. No biggie, right? Just buy a thinner clip or a larger chain. But I literally only chose this chair because it "included" everything I needed to mount it. There were cheaper options on Prime without the mounting apparatus. Second, the "cushion" is basically a glorified potato sack, super cheap looking, misshapen, with very little batting. No way it will be comfortable to sit in once I finally get the replacement mounting strap I just ordered separately. The chair itself seems pretty decent and sturdy, but no way to know for sure until I can mount it. It is cute and I'll update once I get it hung. So, adding up the cost of this "inexpensive" chair: $84- chair (including tax) $22- mounting strap $36- decent cushion =$142- actual cost I wouldn't have bought it if I'd known the mount wouldn't work. One more thing: this was packaged quite badly and all the mounting pieces got loose in the large box. Some of the washers were missing, in consequence. Not exactly a game changer, but it added to the frustration. Just a couple changes would have made this a very satisfying purchase, which is a shame.
