I'm 7 weeks postpartum. I typically get 3-7 ounces out of each side during each pumping session with my Medela Pump in Style handsfree maxflow pump. I return to work in a few weeks. Because I usually only get one time a day to sit down at my job (I will use my Medela for that time), I bought this pump, so that I can use it in between while actively working. I've used this pump about three times so far. I'm still trying all the different settings to see which one works best to get the most milk out for me. So far it has worked very well for me and is giving me similar output as my Medela does. I typically use the highest suction setting (10) on my Medela and I am only using a suction setting between 6-8, depending on the flow setting. I really like that the Paruu P20 comes with a nipple sizing guide sheet and that it has 3 different flange sizes, as well. The silicone flange make wearing this Pump very comfy. I love that it is portable, there's no tubes attached to you! This pump is also pretty quiet. I am unsure of how well the battery life holds up so far, but overall I am very pleased with my purchase. I did lots of research before this purchase, trying to find the best device without breaking the bank. I would 10 out of 10 recommend this pump to anyone! I wish I had this pump 12 years ago with my first!

Just as effective as other expensive brands!

SO glad I found these portable hands free wearable breast pumps. Other brands I was looking at are just so expensive so finding this one at such a great price point AND is actually effective at doing the job was a major win. It has a sleek and modern design, with a beautiful color, great suction and quality. You definitely need to wear it with a great supportive bra in order for the pumps to stay in place, and you can’t bend over bc it can spill milk from the top spout which wasn’t a deal breaker for me. It’s just awesome being able to have both breasts pumped at the same time while being able to move around or just sit on the couch. I get the same output as my spectra breast pump. Makes pumping less of a chore, and parts are super easy to clean and throw in a bottle washer.

Great pump!

Works great! I’ve had it for over a month now and it seems to be holding up well. Suction works well. 4 different settings but I mainly just stick with 2. One thing I will say is that I have to pump at work and the flat side of the battery makes by boobs look weird when I put them on under my scrubs. Literally only complaint otherwise I love it. I do actually really like that you can just poor the milk out from the top you just can’t bend down normally or else you’ll spill the milk you’re pumping. It does time out after 30 minutes which I like.

If You Have Elastic Nipples, Read This First
Set name: P20 Pump
The biggest challenge for me with the Paruu P20 was the flange design. I have elastic nipples, and the flange tunnel is too short. The flange is also a solid color which is nice looking but makes it difficult to see nipple alignment when putting it on. Because of this, I often couldn't tell if my nipple was centered properly and I had a lot of rubbing and discomfort while pumping so I stopped using it for a while but eventually gave it another try with one modification. I appreciate that flange inserts were included with this pump but unfortunately, they were too short as well. The only way I was able to make this pump comfortable and effective for me was by using a flange insert with a longer tunnel from another brand. Once I found a flange insert that worked for my anatomy, my experience with this pump improved significantly. My output became very similar to what I get from my traditional wall pumps, which was a pleasant surprise. The convenience of the Paruu P20 wearable pump has made it a regular part of my pumping routine. I would love to see the company offer longer tunnel flange options or flange inserts designed specifically for moms with elastic nipples. I think that change alone would make a huge difference for many users. Overall, I would recommend this pump but if you have elastic nipples, you may need to experiment with alternative flange insert options.

Hands-Free, Quiet, and Truly Worth Every Penny

I 1000000% recommend this pump! As a breastfeeding AND pumping mom, this has been a total game changer. It’s super quiet, lightweight, and actually comfortable to wear — I can move around, take care of my baby, or get things done without being stuck in one place. The suction is strong but gentle, with plenty of levels and modes to customize what works best for you. I love that the milk volume and pumping time are visible, so there’s no guessing. It empties me really well and is very efficient for a wearable pump. Assembly and cleaning are straightforward, and the battery life has been great so far. For the quality, performance, and convenience, this pump is absolutely worth every penny. I wish I had bought it sooner! Highly recommend to any mom looking for a reliable, hands-free pumping option.

Good not great
Set name: P20 Pump
This is good for using on the go but I wouldn’t recommend it for regular use. I yield maybe half of what I get with the spectra. It’s also trial and error with figuring out how to use it. Make sure it’s completely sealed, I lost about 2 ounces without even realizing it until I was finished because it wasn’t sealed correctly. It’ll also spills easily so don’t bend down in the slightest. Other than that I think it’s a decent product, it does what I got it for.
