The package came with a tear on the package and dust all over the products inside the box. They could have done better packing the merchandise at the Chinese factory where they made the Parrot products. However, the Parrot Bebop2 and the Black Edition Skycontroller worked like a charm. I find the negative comments, blogs, U Tube uploads etc. about Parrot Bebop flyaways and crashes as unfounded. If these things existed, they were all the faults of the pilots and lack of knowledge, ignorance, and of poor skills or carelessness. I have flown the Parrot Bebop 2 with the Black Edition Skycontroller many times, and I have no problems with my Bebop 2. This is the latest flight posted on U-Tube. [...] I also highly recommend the in app purchase of the Flight Plan for $20.00. This is because you lose WiFi signal very quickly in urban areas, even with the Skycontroller. With loss of signal, you cannot command the Bebop 2 to return home. Unlike the DJI drones, the Parrot Bebop drone is programmed to hover in place until it exhausts its battery at which time it will land exactly in the same coordinate position where it hovers. With loss of WiFi signal, you cannot command it to return home nor do you know where it lands. Such things don't happen in a DJI (unique) Fail Safe RTH feature. This is something that Yuneec and Parrot need to work on for the UAVs. ... show more

LOVE THIS DRONE. Tough as nails! Ive Crashed a lot with this drone and it keeps on ticking. This Drone is also TOTALLY user serviceable. Meaning you can get replacement parts for anything that breaks and simply replace or repair it..(Newer DJI have to be sent back to the Factory). When used in combination with VR Headsets and your phone, this little drone can be made to "look" within its 180 FOV while Flying forward (Pan and Tilt head tracking). While there are Drones out there with Higher resolution cameras (Mavic), this little Bebop will fire up anywhere that doesn't have severe interference (I cant say the Same for my Mavic). ... show more

Flys well with the Skycontroller. Rugged. Very easy to fly. Produces good quality movies. Unsatisfactory range using an Android phone to control it. Probably OK indoors. Very difficult to get First Person View on either of my Android devices. Very difficult to get the WiFi to link up with anything other than a Skycontroller. I would buy it again with a Skycontroller but I would look more carefully at other drones. ... show more

Terrible product and experience with the retailer. I purchased this drone for my husband for Father's Day after my son had done extensive research on it. My husband and son put the drone together following the instructions. During the first flight the camera wasn't working properly, on the second flight the drone lost wifi connection and crashed to the ground, the drone was not far from us and in clear sight when this happened. After the crash the drone would not fly. I contacted to retailer and they asked me to send it back to them for a refund. After a couple of weeks and no credit back to my account I sent a follow up email to the retailer and they indicated because there was damage to the drone there was nothing they could do and they shipped it back to me without letting me know. We were on vacation at that time and now a $700 item is sitting on my porch for over a week - who does that!? Seriously don't you think you should contact your customer before you shipped it back - now I'm on vacation and stressed out about a valuable item sitting on my porch! It was our understanding that if connect was lost that the drone would land safely - not the case for us. Complete malfunction! So now I am out $700 and have a broken drone. I am extremely dissatisfied with the product and the retailer. BUYER BEWARE!!! ... show more

I feel like I should write two reviews. As received, in factory sealed box, the unit was very dusty. Other reviewers have mentioned this as well. More importantly, the left control stick was pushed down into the housing. The mounting was broken inside. I'm handy with tools, so I dismantled the sky controller and repaired it rather than go through the hassle of returning it. The box was undamaged, so I have to chalk this broken controller up to amazingly poor quality control and inspection. It shouldn't be up to the buyer to do inspection and repair. Now for the second part of the review. The Bebop 2 is incredibly easy to fly. I have had great fun with it. ... show more

Fantastic drone,delivery was fast,everything was in box,my new bebop 2 was flying 30 minutes after I opened box...I used iPad mini 4 to control bebop and than skycontroller....it's very simple and easy to fly this drone,I recommended it to everyone
