While in general the reviews for this product are good, some of the negative reviews indicate the lights were not bright. These lights are significantly brighter than the old 65W lights I replaced. The room has never been so bright. The different temperature settings are nice. The light goes from a bright white to a little yellow. Some reviews indicated they had issues with not all the lights working, all 16 worked for me. I've only had them in a couple of days, but at this point I'm very satisfied.     • Simple to install, and they look and work great!
These lights are amazing in terms of appearance, ease of installation, and flexibility. At a thickness of 1/3” at its thinnest, the light can be mounted anywhere without worrying about a beam interfering – they are thinner than ½” or 5/8” sheet rock. The external junction box was simple to wire and can be screwed into a beam or just set on top of the light. It is attached to the light fixture with a cable, making wiring neat and accessible. I’m not crazy about the wire connectors provided so I used wire nuts, but the installation was dead simple. Just make sure you set the color temperature switch on the junction box before popping the light into the ceiling. It is easy to knock the switch and have it change the setting, but the lights are easy enough to pull back down and re-set if needed. These lights run cool, look attractive, and are flexible in terms of color temperature and smooth dimming, provided you use a dimmer switch rated for LEDs. I recently needed to change out my old lighting in my house and wanted LEDs instead of the can light bulbs. These LED lights are so much brighter than what I used to have. They install easily with the old wiring, just needed to make bigger holes, which was easy enough. But once they were installed… wow. They’re so bright and I love that they are dimmable. You can even change the light temperature from the box. I chose a daylight white, instead of the warmer temperature. It looks so good! They dim down pretty low, so that I have just enough light to go to the kitchen for some water without blinding myself at night. Or they can go bright enough to light up your house and be able to see everything. The difference from the old bulbs is tremendous. I love these lights. I’d highly suggest them. ... show more

These wafer lights are a great alternative to the traditional recessed lights. These were packaged nicely in the box. The temperature is set on the junction box and you can’t change it without accessing the junction box again. The price on the lights is excellent and they seem to be of good quality. These lights are perfect if you are tying to add some lighting to a closet/bedroom etc, I would recommend a professional install these if you are not up to date with house wiring. The lights themselves use a pressure fit system to secure themselves to the ceiling which is great, and the ballast boxes have very clear labeled wiring to make mating this to your existing switch wiring a no brainer.
