I just don't know how they do it!! This cable is top tier and true 8awg- I figured it would be a cheap run of the mill cable that was no better than the cheap price on its sticker. I was so wrong, I have purchased cables 3 times the cost of this cable that aren't even as well built. Highly recommended!!! PS- Don't be one of those folks using a Nema 6 50 with an electric vehicle charger... Those require a 4 prong that allows for 120v to run alongside the 240v supply. Appears to be good quality. Connections are tight fitting. The jacket is stiffer than I'd like though. It's just pvc. In 80 degree temps, it's even a little stiff. At freezing temps, I bet it's difficult to deal with. I also bought the ac works cord and compared it side by side with this one. The jacket on the ac works cord is significantly thicker, and much more flexible since it's cold weather rated. At only $10 more for the ac works cord, I'd say it's a much better buy. ... show more
