I am a 5 foot 5 inch man. I originally bought the small and it fit well but too tight when bending down. I upsized to a medium and it fit much better! The material feels very nice and high quality. It's not a loud scratchy material like some of the cheaper waders. Very lightweight and maneuverable. The hand pocket is a nice feature. The phone pocket that flips is a little small but it does fit my iPhone. Overall they seem like they are worth the price. I am going on a 5 day trip to trout fish later this month (Sept 2025). I'll update then! Update: 5 days fishing the Brule River with these. Bushwhacking. Climbing over logs. Getting hung up on sticks and thorns. Wading hours in rock and muck. Sitting on the ground. Okay, so my facts. I am 6'2, 390lbs, 4xlt shirts/hoodies/polos, 48-50 x32 jeans and a size 14 EEE shoe/ work boot. I am pretty thick in the thighs, big calves, and a juicy booty. I carry the majority of my weight from my man boob line to my knees. You with me? I ordered the 3xxx. Out of the box they look real sharp, feel good and seem to be well made for that sub 200$ range. This is the most I've paid for waders at 179. Not disappointed out of the box at all. In the fit department there was PLENTY of room exactly where i needed it. The feet had nice room, were long enough for my feet with about an inch more to spare. Not tight at all and plenty wide. Nothing seemed stretched. The feet were a good fit. Good amount of room from the belly to the knees. Crotch and butt room were real good and provided unrestricted movement, bending, opposite stretched leg position. I was happy. The top rim shrunk a bit but there was still room just not a lot. They came up pretty high. Hit right at the the boob line. The was a noticeable taper from the knees to the feet. Doesn't look wrong or even feel wrong but I did think jeans would probably be a no go from the knees down. Back to the feet I want to be clear with what I just said that there was absolutely no issues getting my legs through to the feet and over the ankles. The taper did not restrict what was an EFFORTLESS push into the stocking. I just thought blue jeans wouldn't work for me. Shorts, biker shorts, underwear, denim shorts, would all be unfettered and cause no restriction of wearing them. A full length pant may give a noticed snugness from the knee to the ankle. In all of my movement I never felt that I was at the limit of movement. I believe you could slip or fall or over extend and not have to worry about tears at the seems. I could talk and talk trying to explain myself so I'll just finish with this...... MY FELLOW FAT GUYS, these are worth your time as far as space goes. If you are over I'd say a 52 waist I wouldn't suggest. ... show more

Good waders for reasonable price. Very good for warm or moderately cool weather (think 3 season) but if you use them in winter I would add under layers. Well built. I really wanted to like these waders because they were comfortable and seemed decent out of the box, but I ran into problems almost immediately. I used them on my first day fly fishing and noticed they were already leaking by the end of the day. That was pretty disappointing considering they were brand new and hadn’t even seen much abuse yet. Fit and comfort were actually pretty good while wearing them, and they felt lightweight enough for moving around the river comfortably. But with waders, keeping water out is the whole point, so the leaking issue was hard to overlook. I tried to patch the holes as you could see in the picture. I would love to give them another chance but they failed. Maybe I just got a bad pair, but based on my experience I can only give them 3 stars. They had potential, but the durability/reliability wasn’t there for me at least in this batch. ... show more

I had to buy 3 different brands that said they would work for the BIG and Tall Guy. These on the other hand are the ONLY Ones that Actually Do Fit a BIG Guy.
